He struggled not to turn as she slammed the doors open, but waited for her to reveal herself as she stormed past him and marched out to the edge, overlooking the land. Her pale, ice blue eyes did not match her pale skin and white-blonde hair. But yet, it fit her.
She was once again in a wild, angry rage, and Camden remembered other times she had come out here to release her anger. Grima did that to her. He did that to everyone. Camden struggled hard against the internal rage he felt at just the thought of Grima. The man was sick, crude, and made Camden want to take his sword and kill him. Camden turned his thoughts from Grima and focused on the pale beauty before him.
Eowyn was dressed in a white dress today. Her elegance made him weak at the knees and made his heart ache. Her spirit was so sweet, so fragile. Camden knew she would never look at him in any other way than what he was. A guard. He sighed, and she turned towards him.
"Three riders are coming to the city." She said, before sweeping past him and back into the Hall.
Camden felt a rush of something flow through his body. She had spoken to him! He nodded to the other guard and walked in to notify Grima of the people coming.

Camden studied the riders. Instead of three, there were four. Strange group they were. An elf, a dwarf, an old man, and a younger man made up the four people. He wondered their purpose here, and followed them in as was his orders for anyone who came to the Great Hall.
He caught a glimpse of Eowyn hiding in the shadows and instinctively headed toward her in case anyone decided to come toward her. What happened next made thoughts of Eowyn race to the back of his mind. The old man was a wizard, and he was doing something to the King. He blinked in surprise as Eowyn rushed past him and was stopped by one the travelers.
And then, before his very eyes, the King changed. He grew younger and Eowyn broke free of the man's grasp and hurried to her uncle's side.
