A/N: I'm finally back from a long absence with a short but interesting little ficlet. I will explain more on my long absence from fanfiction in my profile which will soon go through a major revision. So keep a look-out for that, people! Now without further ado! Enjoy!

In the beginning there was absolutely no way I could see eye to eye with you on anything; but despite that initial revulsion that your antics filled me with, I could not prevent that fluttering feeling from settling down rather comfortably in the pit of my stomach.
And each and every time you do manage to say something worthwhile that is not military in nature, you can easily send my heartbeat on the rollercoaster ride of a lifetime. Not that I'm about to tell you that.
The saying "to grow on someone" does gain merit the more time manages to stretch on. ……It's funny how these things work.
