"Do you want to hold him?" Lily asks me, as I am standing by the doorway of the kitchen. She is sitting on the couch, and James is leaning above her.

"Yes! Sirius, you must hold him." James begins to take Harry out of Lily's arms. He's so proud of her, and of his son. He walks over to me, and I have no time to object. Harry is cradled in my arms. James backs up.

"Where is the camera?" He runs to fetch it, while Lily stands up and walks over to me.

"Hold his head." She reminds me. I scared to move. I smile nervously at Lily. She smiles back, radiating warmth.

"I…I have no idea what I'm doing." I stumble. James returns with the camera, and I smile. At least, I try to smile. Lily looks down at Harry.

"Perfect." James remarks. Lily senses my apprehension, still, and kindly takes Harry away. What do I know about babies?

He doesn't have a lot of hair, but the tuft of hair that is present is definitely dark brown – like his father.

James and Lily are crazy. Amidst this world of war and deceit, they have a baby. James and Lily are happy. I don't want to say anything to take away their happiness.
