Title: The Glow from the Dance Floor
Author: veiledndarkness

Warnings: I challenged myself to do one of those 100 or 200 word drabbles and I still went over. I clocked in around 250. Sigh. Oh yes and beware the fluffy sappiness of this. I don't know why exactly I felt the urge to sap it up but there it is.

2nd Warning: Bobby/Jack pairing.

ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Bobby observed the other couples on the slightly crowded dance floor. He closed his eyes as the songs played, filling his ears. He drank it in and let himself relax in the darkness.

The music had changed gradually from euro dance beats to rock and now to slower songs as the evening wore on. Bobby started suddenly as he felt a cool hand glide over his crossed arms.

He opened his eyes and smiled a slow grin that made its way across his face. Jack smiled back, the lighting framing him just so. He held out his hand in invitation. Bobby frowned.

He shook his head. "I don't know how to dance" he whispered fiercely.

Jack smirked at him and leaned in close, his lips brushing Bobby's earlobe.

"But tonight, you will".

Bobby shivered, feeling dizzy and lightheaded. He felt his head nodding as Jack gently pulled him to the dance floor. The crowd parted slowly and they merged together on the floor. Jack pulled him close, wrapped those long arms around him, bringing Bobby closer to him.

They swayed in time to the music. Bobby felt like they were moving in slow motion, his head swimming as he inhaled Jack all around him. Jack held him tight as he hummed along to the steady beat of the song.

Bobby looked at Jack, he saw the golden lights shining down, framing his hair, lighting his eyes, making Jack shimmer in Bobby's eyes.

'This moment' he thought. 'This is the one moment I want to remember the rest of my life.'

Jack smiled as Bobby realized that he'd said the words out loud.

Bobby pulled Jack down a bit and met his lips, a soft, heady, dizzying kiss that tingled right down to his toes.

This moment only, no other.
