I've always wondered what it was like to be wanted by someone.

To be worried about by someone.

To simply be important to someone.

Like, come on. Joseph wasn't a boyfriend. He was a boy I found really attractive..despite the fact that he cheated on me with my cousin.

Jesus Christ, I was only thirteen and my cousin Lily was 16.

I never felt what it was like to love someone intimately.

I mean, yeah. Joseph and I had sex, and yeah, Peter and I had sex.

But, i never ever knew..what It was like to have REAL intimacy with someone.

Still up to this day. I've been that ugly ducking who just never gets invited to parties and

never gets complimented, or never gets the boys.

Emma Marie Swan hasn't had the greatest life. Shes been used and abused by many.

At the age of 13, Emma left her Mother and Fathers care to live with

Her older brother Neil and His beautiful wife Ysalise.

Neil was a captain in the Army but he got out of the defense force and

the pair and Emma moved to a small town called Storybrooke in Maine just out of NYC.

It has been five years since than. She has stayed in NYC and still. Nothing's changed.

Shes moved in with High School Friend's Ruby, Belle, Neil and Killian.

They're amazing. They love and support her with everything she does.

That means, even if shes at home watching Sponge Bob because she wasnt invited to a party.

Her friends new to just leave her alone.

"Emma, Sweetheart. Wake up. First day of work." Ruby shook the blankets that hid Emma's face.

Emma groaned beneath the layers of blankets that fell to reveal Ruby's face.

"Rubes..Whats the time." Ruby laughed and said "Its time to wake up." Ruby stood up and hit Emma's legs.

"Ok, Im coming."

Emma gathered her school uniform together and did her new morning routine:

Wake Up

Make Bed

Get prepared clothing, Towl and undies from top draw

Take a shower

Brush hair

Plait hair

Put on socks and converses

grab school bag

Pack Lunch

Have breakfast

Wash and Rinse plate

Moisturize face, arms, hands and legs

Leave

She did everything in correct order because, what the hell.. This is Emma 'No responsibilities' Swan.

She walked out of the kitchen and into the lounge where Neil and Killian were.

Killian looked at Emma and said "Emma. What a lovely surprise. Are you excited to start your new Job?"

Emma grind and said "In all honesty, nope. But I guess Jupiters wasn't quite right. So, Hopefully..Micau Valley is where its at." followed with a wink at Kilian.

Neil looked over his book at said "Emma. I saw that. Don't waste your time with Killian. Hahahahaha."

Killian looked at Neil and said "Thanks Bro.."

Emma said her goodbyes, grabbed her keys and headed to her yellow bug.
