THE LIFE OF AN ELITE
By Squirrel
Rona 'Olamee sat in the dropship waiting for it to land so he could find a human and cave his skull in with his immense strength. The thought of it brought a smile to his face. As the ship landed the elite dropped out of the ship and instantly put up his guard. As stupid as the humans were they were resourceful when it got down to it. He took a left and ran behind a rock, he saw a group of humans at his two o' clock and tossed a plasma grenade. He was rewarded with a horrible scream. "'Yanamee there are several humans on the cliff face, we should make our way up there." said Rona. "I agree." said Yanamee, "let's move."
Thirty minutes later the humans were dead and the elites were on their way home. Rona wondered what his next mission would be? As the ship landed Rona walked to his briefing room. "Ah, Rona do you have good news for me." said field master Orka 'Tremamee. "Yes, I do. We took out a group of what the humans call orbital drop shock troopers in less than an hour." said Rona. "That is good. On another note your next mission will be more difficult," said Orka, "we have reports of a human responsible for thousands of Covenent casualties. I want you and a strike team to take him out. Do you understand?". "Yes sir, I'm on it." said Rona.
The next day on the other side of Halo the Master Chief had just gotten back to Alpha Base after a hard fought battle. "Master Chief," said a freckle faced Marine, "the Captain wants to see you ASAP.". "Thanks Marine." said the Chief. Five minutes later the Chief was sitting across from Keyes. "Master Chief, it's good to see you, but this isn't a pleasure visit, we have reports that the Covenent are making their way to a dense forest. We think you should go find out what's going on." The Chief responded, "Yes sir.". An hour later the Chief was walking up the ramp of a Pelican, fully armed and extremely dangerous.
The plan was perfect and nothing would stop it. Rona sat in the dropship with his strike team. They were on their way to a forest and they made sure the humans found out about it. Knowing the humans would stick their noses where they didn't belong, he set the bait for them to send the special human his way.
So folks what do you think? If I get the time I just might post a second chapter so please enjoy what you got right here. Or else I won't wright anythin' else. If it takes too long for me to post chapter two, check out my other stories: Kippy's War, More Questions than Answers, Halo 1 1/5 in between Vaarviar VIII, and well that's it really so peace out and remember to be kind to your local squirrels.
