There was happiness. For a time at least. Then it ended. There was nothing more for them but grief. He was dead. They were dead. Nico and Leo. They both perished. Leo died in the explosion that killed Gaia. Nico died closing the doors of death. The most upsetting thing was that both of them felt like they had been outcasts. Leo was the "seventh wheel" or so they said. Nico was shunned for being the son of Hades. Leo always did his best to cheer up everyone else even when they yelled at him for it, even when he was breaking down inside. Nico did his best to help everyone that he could. He had shadow traveled the Athena Parthenos to the Camp and was utterly drained afterwards but he still tried to fight and after expending whatever was left of his energy to summon skeleton warriors, he went and closed the Doors of Death. There were no bodies for them to burn. Nico's shroud had his titles and the symbol of Hades on it. Leo's had his titles and an image of Festus on it. Both camps mourned the loss of the two. Some of the Hunters also mourned the loss. They all missed Death Breath and Repair Boy.
