Ginny woke up in her bed to the sounds and smells of breakfast being cooked downstairs. She quickly got dressed and dragged her trunk down the long stairs of the Burrow. It was September 1st and she had to go to Hogwarts again for her last year. She was so excited to be finally going back but also sad because it was her last year. She wanted it to last as long as it could and be the best year. The only problem was that Harry was not at the school anymore. The good part is that she got to be with him all summer. Except when he was studying to become an Auror. It was nice having her whole family over. They were happy for the first time since last year. They were still mourning for the deaths. Harry would hardly talk for the first few months locking himself in his house. Ron and Hermione had begged him to come to the Burrow knowing it would do him good. He wouldn't go though. Thought the Weasleys would blame him for the murders of Voldemort. Of course they wouldn't and he should have known better. He only came when Ginny visited him and told him that she needed him. Her whole family did. They were very worried about him.
Ginny finally reached the bottom floor putting her trunk near the door. She walked into the kitchen and saw Harry, Ron, and Hermione sitting at the table. Mrs. Weasley was bustling around them urging them to eat thirds.
"Mrs. Weasley really we're so full of your great cooking already," Harry said.
Ginny sat down next to Harry and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Pass the bacon, please," she said to Ron giving him a look that said not to say anything.
Ron grumbled something about trying to eat and passed the plate of bacon. It was piled up high with hot greasy bacon.
"Yum," Ginny said taking three.
She finished her breakfast and turned to her mother, "Shouldn't we be going now?"
"Oh my, we're going to be late if we don't leave now. Arthur!!" Mrs. Weasley walked over to the stairs and yelled for Mr. Weasley again, "Hurry up, we're going to be late."
Mr. Weasley ran downstairs. They all piled into the new tricked out car Mr. Weasley had pulled apart and put together again. There were way more features then the old ford angela which was still roming the Forbiden Forrest.
They got there with much time to spare. Thanks to Mr. Weasley's car's feature to squeeze through traffic.
They casually walked through the wall to get to platform 9 and 3/4. Hermione, Ron, and Mr. and Mrs. Weasley went to talk to people they haven't seen all summer. Ginny and Harry stood there looking at the floor and the people walking around them to get to the train.
"I guess we should get out of people's way," Harry said pushing Ginny's cart to the side. Ginny followed him silently. When he stopped she hugged him from behind and pressed her face to his back. He smilled to himself and turned around to face her.
