Chapter One: First Sight
We was all back from break It's a new year, and hopefully a new start. I and Ali approached the front stairs of the school and Ali yapping at the mouth as usual. "Well, well Ms. Claire what is on your mind today?" Ali said fixing her colorful shirt. " wha-what, what do you mean?" I replied subconsciously to her question. Ali looked at me as if something was super funny. I could feel my cheeks getting red so I abruptly turned away.
We are in English class and Ms. Dawes is taking attendance everything sounded so Familiar until she stumbled upon an unaware name, Elijah Goldsworthy. That name rung in my head with significance as a drop dead gorgeous guy walked in. Wait what?
Eli's POV
I stepped into the class all of the students was engrossing into their work except for one. I gave her my usual smirk and took the empty seat in front of her. "Ms. Edwards is there something more interesting then what's in front of you?" Ms. Dawes asked. "No sorry". I turned around towards her, "so drooling about me is not interesting?" I laughed at the moment. "Well maybe it would be if you weren't so late" she joked.
"Well maybe next time I'll try"
"Yeah you do that" She laughed and looked back at her work.
She's really pretty and – wait what am I doing?
Claire's POV
After English I ran to Ali, she must have some type of crush alert because the first thing she said was "Well my Radar says you've met Elijah Goldsworthy" she said with the proudest look on her face
"Wait what? How did you –"
"listen, I know my friend and it's so obvious, Everyone knows about him !"
"Okay ... I guess I need to update on my Degrassi gossip" We both laughed on our way to our next class.
