I saw another poem about a Snitch, and I decided I had to do one myself...so, hope you guys enjoy this one! ;)
Never Again

I can feel it inside of me
As I'm about to be let go.
It's been so long since last time
And I can hardly fly so low.
.
I shoot up into blue sky
And feel air run through my wings -
This exhilaration inside me
Cannot compare to other things.
.
The sun glints off my body,
Shining gold to all who see...
And I might feel more concerned,
But only two will try to catch me.
.
I weave through wood and fabric,
Soar through fluffy clouds,
I zip through moving people...
The crowd has never been so loud.
.
I see one of them behind me -
An insufferable boy with glasses.
I push myself ever faster
And zip quickly through the masses.
.
But the boy has not been shaken,
And now another in green has joined him.
They race with their arms outstretched -
(I wish people didn't have that limb...)
.
I know I cannot escape now,
But I still have to try -
It's in my nature to escape,
Just the same as it is to fly.
.
A hand closes suddenly around me,
And I struggle against it in vain.
The announcer crows "Potter caught the snitch!"
And I vow that this will never happen again.
So...enjoyable? Yes? It was fun to write.
