The Professor of Marylebone

I thought I would put this in. It's quite a nice story about the dangers of revenge. And sticks to the story!

It's been eight years since my father died. He was a brilliant wizard and a very powerful one too. But he'd been killed by Malistaire. Oh how I hate him, I hate him with every fibre of my being. But my mother doesn't like me swearing revenge at him. Whilst, I sit opposite her. She always tells me the same story to try and con me out of my hate. The Professor of Marylebone.

"There was once a brilliant professor. Called katzenstein, and even though being a cat among dogs he would make wondrous inventions, and was happy and content all the while. One day, he created a machine for a woman. She'd been in love with him for months now. But the machine was a turning point.

So at the pinnacle of katzensteins career he had fallen in love with a fine woman, and had many wondrous inventions behind in. He was getting by quite well in life. Better than some.

For there was a guard called Baxter. Who spent the countless hours watching the same ever unchanging street. But one day it would change for baxter, for he had found his true love and it was his day. His perfect day. Where he would win the heart of his beloved. But when he pledged his love to her. He was met with a look of pity as his beloved explained to him. That she had fallen for another man.

Torn apart with grief. He swore revenge on Katzenstein and planned to ruin his life. For what he had done to him. So that night he forged a letter. One that clearly stated that Katzenstein wished to kill the mayor of Marylebone and then he signed the letter in katzensteins name.

The next day katzenstein was whisked away from his apartment, by tens of guards. And manhandled to Scotland yard. He was sentenced to life in prison and was shut in the deepest underground dungeon Scotland yard had to offer.

After years passed, and he payed his dues. He slowly obtained better leverage amongst the prisoners. Amassing more followers and people to fight in his name. Then he escaped.

It was one of the most elaborate escapes in History it is a amazing what a mad scientist and an army of brutal convict followers can do. Katzenstein fled Scotland Yard and built himself a lab in a secret location. Surrounding himself with automations.

But Katzenstein was still an enemy of the state. He got in over his head, started sending his automations to attack the residents.

One day however, a great wizard confronted Katzenstein and the wizard won. Katzenstein was defeated and died in vein, in pain and despair. So the story of katzenstein lives on as a reminder that revenge. Is a curse"

I always think my mom was joking with me. It's just a fairy-tale I thought, then one day when I was travelling to Marylebone I saw a beautiful women and a guard chatting to each other in the corner concerned over something. I used some magic to sneak a look. It was a letter, and it had been forged.
