Kanaya was fast, everyone knew that, but know one knew he could run as fast he did at Gamzee.
It was no secret Karkat still cared for Terezi and Gamzee but something had to be done.
Karkat ran at Gamzee with immense speed, surpassing Kanaya's, and going recklessly towards Gamzee.
Gamzee reached out trying to grab Terezi's sword but it had seemed he was seconds behind Karkat, if he was only a few more seconds behind though, or he wouldn't have made the biggest mistake of his life...
Karkat made the jump at Gamzee only seconds before Gamzee had grabbed hold of Terezi's sword. Karkat's arms were outstretched almost like Nepeta was when she saw him kill Equis die.
What took Gamzee by surprise was the fact that instead of attacking him Karkat grabbed his shoulders and kissed him sending both down to the ground.
Sanity slowly washed over Gamzee as the kiss deepened and finally Karkat pulled back with red tears in his angry eyes.
"K-karbro?" Gamzee asked looking into his eyes in search of what was wrong before looking down to see Terezi's sword sticking out of Karkat's body stained with red blood.
"I'm sorry I let you turn into this..." Karkat whispered weakly bringing Gamzee into one more kiss before nearly going limp. "you fuckass..." Karkat finished with his dying breath.
Gamzee stood quickly throwing the damned sword away from Karkat before picking him.
"PUT HIM DOWN!" Kanaya snarled still running at him.
"Honk..." Gamzee managed to get out before dropping Karkat to the ground and getting pissed again.
"HONK!" He shouted, though there were tears of sadness running down his cheeks. As Kanaya got ready to strike Gamzee repicked up Karkat harshly kissing the dead body and with that Kanaya split the clown in half whose final act was throwing Karkat's body into the lava.
