Kitty puffed and panted as Raven's spell finally wore off. Her feet hurt, she was incredibly tired and she was quite some distance from the school. Putting her hand against a nearby tree, she slumped down to the ground and removed her shoes, one after the other in a desperate attempt to help her throbbing feet feel less painful. She was even too tired to do her usual trick of vanishing to where she wanted to go.
She clenched her fists angrily. She couldn't believe that Raven had dared cast that spell on her. Especially as she didn't want to be evil. It was a perfect trick, a way to get Cerise to reveal her secret to the entire school and Raven had RUINED it!
Chirp, chirp, chirp!" a bird sang above her and Kitty looked up. Normally she would shoo a bird away, but she didn't have the energy. Instead, she simply growled at it and clenched her fists once more. She rubbed her feet and growled.
"I'm going to get you back for this Raven Queen!" she shouted at the trees and a white blob landed on Kitty's shoulder. It appeared the bird had responded to her threat messily. Giving her famous Cheshire cat grin, she vanished.
