Author's Note: Hello ya bunch of non-reviewing carrots. This is my first Emmett/Bella story so I NEED you guys to tell me what you think. Also, I thought I should clear some things up that are different in this story than they are in the original book. The stories behind how Carlisle/Esme and Alice/Japer became vampires/fell in love are the same. But, in this story, Emmett was dying of the Spanish Influenza, not Edward. How Rose became a vampire is the same, but she found Edward in the forest, not Emmett. She and Edward fell in love, and like Edward is In Twilight, Emmett is the only Cullen that doesn't have a mate. Okay, I promise, I'm done babbling…for now : D. anyway, here goes…
Love, Fate, or Destiny?
Preface:
I smelled her before I saw her. The scent of her blood hit me like a steamroller, taking my breath away. I was ready to run, but something other than the blood was begging me to find this girl. I let the scent of blood lead me through streets, down alleys, and everywhere else until I found where the blood was the strongest.
I found her, sitting on the ground, curled up into a ball, hiding in a small alleyway that abruptly stopped with a brick wall. I could tell that she would have been quite beautiful if it weren't for the blood covering her body that was only clothed with a short, tight dress. I could feel the animal inside me straining to be let free and drink the delicious blood, but seeing the helpless girl, I knew I couldn't harm her.
I kneeled down beside her, still trying to control myself.
"What happened?" I asked curiously.
She looked up at me and I gasped. Her chocolate eyes stared into mine and all I felt was…was…love. I didn't understad it. What was going on?
This weird and wonderful feeling was boiling inside of me, threatening to burst out.
Impossible She was a human, I couldn't love her…or could I?
Her weak voice broke my chain of thought.
"So m-m-much b-blood…g-gone, he's gone…help," she stuttered in a shaky voice.
As she spoke the last word her eyes grew wide before they closed and her head fell onto her shoulder. She looked so scared.
I heard her heart beat slow, beating only once every ten seconds. Oh god, no!
I wrapped my arms around her limp, bloody body and ran as fast as I could.
As I reached the Cullen household I ran inside and bellowed "Carlisle! Help!"
He ran down the steps, taking her from my arms.
"Wait here, son," he said, before running her back up the steps.
Ooo, what's going to happen to Bella? Will Carlisle save her? I don't know! So, REVIEW TO GET THE NEXT CHAPTER! MWHAHAHAHAHA!
