The breath gets knocked out of my lungs as soon the tidal waves coming form each side of the building my way. Taking everything with its angry waves, every belonging, furniture, from every room
and that including me.
Within few second the immense room was filled with water and I feel myself pushed further and further down.
Barely able to react as everything happens within seconds, but feels as is an eternity for me, I barely registered the crashing waves, or water all around me, or that I'm floating, falling and drowning save for when a figure seemingly appearing out of nowhere in a flash grabs me.
Had its solid body not firmly yet gently slammed into mine proving this is real I would of sworn it was my imagination, or a dream, or perhaps an angel coming to take me. Only this angel was engulfed in shadows from lack of light within building and been almost dragged along to the darkest depths. The only thing I could make out was the dark hair tied back in a thin ponytail except few strands coming free to his face but length wise would be reaching around his shoulders. He was wearing a black jacket which kind of shrouds me from everything else in my peripheral vision.
I melt into the warm embrace, my nose buried in his white shirt and now noticing the black necktie he had to go along with his clothing of choice that day. He was warm. The only warm thing I could get since the cold waters came crashing in a swift wave and had me.
Lean my head against his chest I surrender as he takes me wherever.
Probably to safety? Or further to my doom?
Was eh a guardian angel or death himself? Or maybe he was just a regular guy trying to help me.
I don't know.
Maybe this is a dream. Maybe my brain is making up this up to help me cope better with the traumatic situation. Either way...shockingly enough I don't feel threatened at all neither afraid.
Nor need to fight it. Fight him.
I just... gave in.
