Disclaimer- I wish, but not mine.

Ever since Draco had found her in the astronomy tower, he had slowly been nursing Hermione back to health back in their head dormitory. She was getting better every day.

If she got too quickly, she would cringe from the pain, and he atomically be there asking if she was aright. Many of the students and teachers, Dumbledore himself included, found it sweet to watch the two heads together.

They had even gotten of the last name basis, and started calling each other by their first names.

'Mione, where you off to?' Draco called after her one afternoon.

'to the library, I need a book so I can finish this charms essay' was her short reply.

'Are you sure? I can always get it for you' he offered. She simply frowned at him.

'I'm pretty sure I can get a book by myself, thank you' she answered.

'But, Mione, you have loads of books, I'm sure you must have something here that will help'

'The library has more books, and why are you so keen to keep me here?'

'I didn't say that'

'You were thinking it'

By this time, they were so close that their noses were almost touching. He slipped his arms around her waist.

'You can read minds now, can you Hermione?' he whispered. She half nodded. She gave him a small smile.

'I can always get that book later'

It was late. Roughly one in the morning. Draco lay down on his bed. He had just gotten back from head patrol.

Worn out from the long night, he soon drifted off to sleep.

Draco awoke with a start. Someone was screaming. Hermione. He dashed out of bed, across the common room to Hermione's bedroom. When opened the door she saw tossing and turning in her sleep. She was crying.

'Hermione' he gently shook her by her shoulders.

'Hermione, wake up!' he half shouted. Suddenly her eyes opened and Draco held her as she cried silently into his chest.

'Shh, it was only a dream' he whispered to her.

He lay with her until she fell back to sleep.

'Hermione, you alright?' he asked her that morning.

'Yeah, of course, why wouldn't I be?' she questioned, brightly.

'You woke me up screaming last night' Draco told her.

'Oh' she spoke quietly, her smile fell from her face.

'What were you dreaming about, Mione?' he stood up, and walked over to her.

'It doesn't matter now' she told him.

'It matters to me'

'Why?'

'Because I lo... I care about you'

'I'm not ready to tell you yet. I will, but not yet' she told him quietly. She left the common, and he let her go.

Draco knew he had fallen for her. Hard. He couldn't help not to. Draco would find out what happened to her, if it was the last ting he did. And once he did, he wasn't going to let anything hurt her again.

'Okay' he whispered, 'My Mione'

Done! There will be more stories after this one, don't worry folks! I hope you enjoyed it, I like seeing a more sentimental side of Draco. Please R&R.
