Hello hello :)
This one-shot is set during the episode Child Star, and it was just something i came up with and wrote because i was bored..
But anyways, i hope you like this! :)
Jane was walking down the hallway, on her way to the cafetaria for lunch.
Things were going pretty good for her ever since she transferred to McKinley, she joined Glee Club, made new friends, and she would maybe even go on a date with Mason.. if his sister would let him.
She sighed, pushing a black curl behind her ear as she walked past the choir room.
But then something catched her eye.
She noticed that someone was in there by himself, and that someone was Roderick, who didn't look very happy.
"Roderick?" she asked as she opened the door to the choir room, and made her way inside, but didn't get a reply from him.
Ofcourse.
The headphones.
She walked up to Roderick, and stopped in front of him, waving her hand in front of his face to get his attention "Roderick?".
Roderick jumped slightly when Jane suddenly appeared in front of him, and slowly took of his headphones "Oh.. hey Jane,".
"Hey," Jane greeted with a small smile "What are you doing in here by yourself? Don't you want to go to the cafeteria to get lunch?".
"I just needed a place to think.." Roderick replied "And no, I'm not that hungry,".
"Why not?" Jane asked, frowning a little as she took a seat beside him.
"I'm just not that hungry," Roderick repeated.
"Oh.. okay," Jane nodded slowly "But what did you needed to think about then?".
"It's nothing," Roderick said with a sigh.
"It's clearly not nothing, because you're sighing," Jane pointed out "You can tell me Roderick, I won't tell anyone,".
"I- .. I just had a pretty crap P.E lesson, we had to climb a rope.. and everyone stopped to look at me when it was my turn, and then they all laughed when i fell out because I can't do it," Roderick said "And I'm also terrified of heights,".
"That's really mean," Jane replied "But most of the guys at this school are, don't pay attention to them, I'm sure you can do it.. I believe in you, and you just need to believe in yourself," she said, smiling a little.
"Yeah, it is, and I've noticed," Roderick replied, chuckling slightly "Thanks, Jane," he said, smiling a little himself.
"You're welcome," Jane said with a smile.
Roderick didn't say anything back, but just smiled at her.
It was pretty nice to hear that Jane believed in him.
"Now, are you going to sit here the whole lunch period, or do you want to come to the cafeteria with me?" Jane asked with a smile.
"I was planning on doing that, but sure, I'd like that," Roderick nodded.
"Great, come on then," Jane said with a smile, getting up from her seat and started to walk out of the choir room.
Roderick got up from his seat as well, and smiled a little as he followed Jane.
