The young girl, couldn't be more that thirteen, stood at the entrance of the woods. Tall, dark trees loomed far over her casting shadows over her small figure. As she stood there contemplating her decision to explore the whimsical woods the branches reached out to her moving back and forth in a hunting way; swaying to the sound of the invisible music the wind brought that only they could hear. Noticing the dark and broken beauty the girl decided to explore this forest the villagers swore it was filled with magic and secrets to explore.
Into the woods the young girl went and as she walked she started noticing the woods didn't seem so dark anymore. Trees started becoming livelier as a green blanket of moss quilted them from the fresh October air. Small animals scurried to get away from the invading girl only to resurface when they saw she was no threat. The young girl kept walking a hop in her step as she started feeling the weight on her shoulders lift. She felt one with the woods; like this was her home. She forgot about her peers judgment towards her for being 'tomboy' and different, she forgot about the recent fight she had with her best friend for telling her the boy she liked was no good, she forgot about all her problems and felt the peace she hadn't felt in a long time return.
Deeper into the forest she went without a single care in the world, looking around for anything that might cause her interest. She didn't walk too far before a green wall blocked her path. She hesitated before gently pulling aside the vines that were in her way. As she entered the humid cave she noticed it wasn't dark as if there was a hidden light there. Making her way deeper into the cave she saw a bright light that could only be classified as the exit. She felt like she was a spirit walking down the tunnel and towards the bright white light that leads her to heaven. She could almost feel invisible shapes resembling fingers pull at her sleeves. In any other occasion the hairs at the base of her neck would have risen but oddly she felt safe, like this place was her haven.
As she exited the cave the girl entered a clearing. Trees surrounded it in a circle forming a protective cocoon. Leaves of all shades ranging from pink to orange to red danced in the wind giving the clearing an almost magical aura. In the middle of the clearing stood an old, rundown shack contrasting the beauty of the meadow with its broken form. Roof caved in and holes protruding from several places the shack seemed to have been inhabited for years. Stepping into the clearing the girl trailed her fingertips along the overgrown grass, careful not to crush the delicate flowers with her feet.
She felt a strange force in the shack which usually means something bad is nearby, but it gave more of a gentle feel as if she was finding an old treasure waiting to be found. She got closer the feeling of the gentle force was getting stronger. "What's radiating from the place?" she step though the ruined doorway, and was amaze that the floor was still polish as if it was being inhabited still 'hmm what this?'
She continued in and pass by a wall she sees something sparkle on the floor. With every step
