What made him think he was invincible?

Why did he think he could not die?

Why did he have to try and prove he was right?

Why'd he have to prove her right instead?

He had thought himself already dead

He could not die

So he thought

Yet here she stood, over his grave

He was foolish and delusional

And now, he was dead for real

Not just in his thoughts

So, what went wrong?

What made him think he was invincible?

A/N Eh... don't ask. For those of you who didn't get it, Cotard Delusion is a mental illness in which one thinks oneself is dead and therefore immortal and invincible. I decided to write this about Sango and Miroku, and how thinking about the windtunnel consumming Miroku finally drove him insane, or at least, to Cotard Delusion. But looked back, it could be anyone.
