What are drabshots, you ask? They are stories that are longer than drabbles but too short to be considered a one-shot, a term conned by MANKINFAN! Enjoy reading these Lord of the Flies drabshots!

Blindfold

"A blindfold?"

"Yeah." Jack grinned as he held up the long strip of white cloth. "Only for a day, Simon. I promise I won't let anything happen to you. Please?"

Simon bit his lip and allowed the older boy to slip the strip around and around his eyes until he couldn't see. He felt Jack step back to admire his handiwork and Simon sat there obediently. He didn't like the feeling of being vulnerable like this and half of him wondered how on earth he liked Jack enough to comply.

"C'mon, it's not so bad." He felt Jack slip his hand into his and for a second, Simon smiled. He liked the comfort and security Jack's hand gave him.

Jack nearly chuckled to himself as he saw how this was all according to plan. That way Simon didn't have to notice the redhead giving the silent boy lecherous looks. Not that Simon wasn't already used to that already…and that he'd have an excuse to hold his hand the whole day. Simon was always keeping to himself and being all independent. The kid wouldn't let him fuss over him at all. And unless Simon could somehow undo the complex knot blindfolded, the boy's sight would be his the entire day.

Yes, everything was going to plan until later in the afternoon, after dragging Simon around and springing enthusiastic bursts of affection which the dark-haired boy couldn't duck around today. Jack sighed contentedly to himself as he sat cross-legged in the living room, savoring the intense air conditioning and Simon leaning against him. His grin grew as he felt Simon wrap his arms around his neck. The poor boy was fumbling around due to his lack of sigh and that fact that he wasn't even facing Jack. Pulling the expectant redhead's head down to meet his, resting on Jack's lap, Simon led Merridew's lips until they were ghosting his own.

All he had to do was just lean forward and their lips would meet, but Simon let them hover, touching only briefly. He could feel Jack's breath, his anticipation. Smiling very unlike himself, Simon shook his head. "I can't kiss you if I can't see where you are, can I?"

In less than a second, the blindfold was abandoned on the floor as Jack ravaged Simon just next to it.

Note: Let's ignore the fact that Simon is so painfully OCC. But whatever, it works. Decided that this is in an AU from the cannon because I couldn't find a way to make it cute and innocent at the same time. So…review.
