Fourshot drabbles' chapter one!

Something Old

"Larxene Clair de Lune Foudre," Marluxia said as he gracefully lowered himself down onto one knee. "Will you marry me?" He smiled as he opened the lid of the tiny box in his hand.

Larxene gasped, blushing as her hands flew to her mouth. The ring in the box was an heirloom that had been in Marluxia's family for generations. It was an ancient silver, with a brilliant blue stone cut and set in the middle. Ornate runes decorated the slim band in an unknown language, and the bright sunlight caught the gem with a dazzling spark. The blonde woman nodded, choking back a cry.

"Yes," she said a bit breathlessly, closing her eyes for but a moment to stem the tears. Her eyes opened as she looked Marluxia straight in the eyes. "Yes."

As soon as he slipped the ancient ring onto her pale finger, she threw her arms around him, catching him in a hug and tightly holding him, as he hugged her back. But after a moment, he pulled away from her. Larxene looked up with an expression of confusion in her eyes, when her boyfriend (or now-fiancee) swooped down and kissed her, full on the lips.

Wrapping her arms around his neck, she fiercely kissed him right back, a single tear escaping her closed eyes.

Yuffie shrieked with laughter as Larxene finished telling her story.

"That's it?" She giggled as she hugged her knees closer to her chest. Aerith rolled her eyes at the young girl as Larxene blushed.

"I thought it was fine. That was really sweet of him! Proposing at the park where you met." Tifa laughed as Larxene blushed harder.

"Aww, lookit you! You're blushing! What happened to the Larxene we know?"

"Oh, shut up," the blonde said, sticking her tongue out at her friend's teasing. "And it was fine, Yuffie."

The self-proclaimed ninja rolled her eyes playfully.

"Show us the ring again!" Naminé set down her sketchbook and glanced at her.

"She's already shown us three times..." Larxene shook her head and extended her hand, showing off the silver-and-blue ring to all of the girls.

They had all gathered at Aerith's house to celebrate Larxene's engagement, and everyone had come. Kairi, Selphie, Olette, Naminé, Aqua, Yuffie, Paine, Rikku, Yuna, and Tifa had dropped everything and arrived at the house. Even Fuu had come, though reluctantly, being dragged along by Paine.

Nearly everyone ooh-ed and ahh-ed at the jewelry upon Larxene's finger.

"It's been in his family for ages," explained Larxene for the fifth time. "It's very special, and––"

"––You love it, you're excited; we know," giggled her younger sister. "And not to mention the wedding's in, and I quote, only a freaking month!" Larxene gave her a haughty look.

"Shut up, Naminé," she said with a grin. "You'll understand when you marry Sora."

"What?" Naminé blushed a deep scarlet as Kairi gave her a playful glare.

"Sora's mine." Larxene smirked.

"Alright then, you can marry Riku. But either way, you'll understand when you're older."

Naminé blew the hair out of her eyes.

"Whatever."

A/N: Please don't kill me. I'm very, very busy, and didn't want to miss today. Yes, it's rushed xD
I still love you all, though! Platonically.
