Chapter 1: Entrance

Kagamine Len had always been marked as the average kid in class. His academic standing and personality were average to the point where he was considered just another face in the crowd. He had a good relationship with everyone in the class and had his own group of friends. He chitchats, he smiles, he laughs, he gets sad, and he gets mad like a normal person. The feeling of belongingness was there. There was no abnormality in his daily routine.

Waking up. Eating breakfast. Going to school. Hanging out with friends. Going home. Eating supper. Doing homework. Going to bed. And the cycle repeats again.

Every single day it was the same.

And to be honest, the blond boy couldn't ask for more. He was contented; happy, even. There wasn't any feeling of boredom or anxiety with the same happenings over and over again. All he wanted was for things to remain the same.

That morning, as per his routine, he was inside the train in the middle of dozens of passengers, on his way to school. He could feel the heat getting into him as summer was just around the corner. He wiped down the sweat on his forehead. The air-conditioning in the train wasn't helping in a cab full of people.

As the train arrived on a station, he anticipated his friends, Hatsune Mikuo and Shion Kaito to arrive. He waved a hand at them when he saw them pushing past the rushing crowd.

The two boys were his closest friends since he started middle-school. Now the three of them were in their second year of high school. Kaito had been his friend over a mutual like of games and TV shows. And Mikuo had been his friend that started with them being seatmates in the first year they met.

His two friends sighed when they reached Len. They were both sweating.

"God, this heat is killing me," Kaito complained to him and fanned himself with his hand.

"Tell me about it," Len said, looking at the blazing sun.

Mikuo grinned at them. "Stop complaining you two. Today's the last day of school and we can finally take a break from schoolwork," he told them positively.

Kaito nudged the teal-haired boy. "You're just excited that you can finally spend more time with your precious Rin-chan."

Mikuo chuckled. "Yeah, there's that," he admitted, "But there's also the fact that I won't see our teachers' faces for a while!"

The three laughed joyfully.

Back at the corner of the train, a lone figure was standing isolated from the crowded cab. The person was eyeing Kaito, Len and Mikuo intently. The person smirked and disappeared suddenly without a trace. No person in the train—except maybe for one—even noticed her presence.

"Good morning!" greeted one of their classmates. They greeted back enthusiastically, excited that their summer break will start tomorrow. They proceeded to their own assigned seats to drop down their bags. Kaito and Mikuo approached Len who just finished preparing his book for first period.

"Hey Len," started Mikuo as he looked around, "Have you noticed something?"

Len shook his head sideways, clueless to what his teal-haired friend was saying. "What is it?" he asked.

Kaito said, "There are fewer students in our class today."

"Maybe they got excited for summer break, too?" the blond boy guessed.

"No… actually, some of their parents called," one of their classmates, the class representative, randomly appeared when he heard them talking about the lack of students in the room. "Most of them were taken to the hospital..."

Len stood up from his seat in surprise. Mikuo and Kaito were shocked at the news, too, and it was evident in their faces. "What?! Why? What happened?"

"That's the weird thing," their classmate said, looking at the ground sadly, "The cause was unknown. They just suddenly fainted last night…"

"How is that even possible?" Kaito asked, skeptical. "And all at the same time?! Can that even be called coincidence?"

"Maybe they were food poisoned," Mikuo speculated innocently. "Sometimes I get food-poison, too, when I eat too much leeks."

His three classmates looked at him with disgust. He felt offended. "Hey, leeks are good!" he hmph-ed and crossed his arms.

"Anyway," their classmate continued, ignoring the leek-obsessed Mikuo, who began telling stories about how good leeks are for their soul, "The weirdest thing was all of them were found unconscious in front of their computers."

"What does computers have to do with their condition?" Kaito and Len asked, curious how computers suddenly got dragged in their conversation.

Their classmate was silent for a few seconds before replying. "Apparently, before fainting, all of them were found going to a website called Wonderland . com."

Len and Kaito looked at each other and didn't know how to react to that at all.

Their classmate sighed. "Well, I don't know for sure. But lately, I have been hearing rumors that high-school students all around Tokyo were mysteriously fainting one by one before this incident with our classmates happened. And like our classmates, all of them visited the same website," he looked directly into their eyes, "Well it was only a bunch of rumors so I don't know if it was accurate."

"Rumor?"

"The rumor had begun in school three weeks ago. They said that there was this website that could grant anyone's wish, much like how the Jigoku Shoujo works, except there won't be any girl coming to you to negotiate revenge with you. This website, www. wonderland. com, doesn't work only at midnight. It works 24/7. But there's a catch. Not everyone could access it unless the person accessing it has excessive amount of desire to have their wish granted," their classmate explained.

"Ah, that's right," Mikuo quickly said, after he was done talking about leeks to himself, "I've read a blog about it before."

"You knew about it, Mikuo?" asked Len expectantly.

"Just a passing read about it," the leek-lover said and shrugged.

The class representative nodded. "Because of its growing popularity, there have been blogs popping out dedicated to it. According to some of them, there was someone who managed to access it and return. That lone survivor told the media about his adventures in Wonderland and how great it was. And to top it off, he got his wish granted. Because of this person, many people tried to access the website. But these people have been reported in a case of coma since accessing the site."

"Everyone was confused on why there was only one person who got back from Wonderland. They tried to look for this person again but he cannot be found anywhere anymore."

"Creepy," Len and Kaito both said as a chill went down their spines. They imagined that Wonderland was created by a mythical creature that traps souls into his lair and feed on them. And that person who told the media about it is one of the mythical creature's henchmen. Together, they try to trick people into accessing Wonderland so that they could feed on their souls…

'I've got such a creative imagination…' the two thought to themselves and smiled pathetically.

"Why are you so informed about all of this anyway?" Kaito asked their classmate who suddenly looked upset.

"My friend from another class's sister was one of those who got hospitalized last week," he said sullenly. "In fact, it was in the news the other day."

"O-Oh… sorry to hear about that," Kaito said and patted their classmate's back comfortingly.

"Could this be an Urban Legend?! Or maybe Jigoku Shoujo was real!" Len said who started getting nervous.

Their classmate laughed. "That's impossible! That only happens in a manga," he said assuredly. "And besides, it was only a rumor. Who knows? Maybe they really did get food-poisoned…" he looked at Mikuo.

"That's right. Anyway, summer break is about to start so let's just forget about the others and have fun!" Kaito said optimistically.

"Yeah," their classmate agreed.

The anticipated time had arrived. School just finished and everyone was eager to get out of the premises.

"SUMMER BREAK, YEAH!" Kaito cheered happily and started jumping around. "Hurry Len, Mikuo! Let's go for ice cream!" he hurriedly exchanged his pair of school shoes to his regular ones by the shoe lockers. "I'll race you there!" the tall boy said and skipped outside the school.

Len chuckled. "Kaito is such a kid sometimes," he closed his shoe locker and waited for Mikuo to finish.

Mikuo grinned. "Heh, he always turns like that when ice cream is involved. What an ice cream-freak," he said.

The two started walking towards the direction of the school gates, where Kaito was waiting for them while jogging in place. "By the way, Len," Mikuo said, "I'm eating at your place tonight."

Len looked at him with displease. "Again?! Can't you leech food from someone else?"

Mikuo grinned at him teasingly, to annoy him further. "Nope!"

"Ugh!" Len stomped away from him. Mikuo laughed and ran after him.

"Come on! I promise you I won't bother you too much this summer break!"

He liked Mikuo, but sometimes his leeching was getting on his nerves. Both of them had busy parents, and unfortunately for the teal-haired boy, whose—according to him—parents were overseas, he couldn't cook to save his life. Sometimes, Len felt that he'd become Mikuo's babysitter.

The three arrived at an ice cream parlor, where Kaito ordered the most scoop of varied flavours of ice cream. The three sat in a free table and began indulging themselves in the sweet and cold treat, perfect for summer.

"It's kind of unbelievable though… that Wonderland rumor, I mean," Kaito began as he remembered what their classmates said to them that morning.

"Maybe it's a cult thing. You know? Like Heaven's Gate," Len suggested.

"Yeah. Maybe when they access the website a weird, hypnotic thing pops out and stuff," Mikuo said.

"Makes me even more curious," said Len and began playing with the chocolate syrup on his banana split.

Mikuo and Kaito looked at him knowingly. "You plan to access it?" they grinned.

"W-Wha—No!" Len told them and waved his arms around.

"You scared~?" Mikuo teased.

"O-Of course not!" Len glowered. "What if I faint, too? Summer starts tomorrow for Pete's sake!"

"So you just indirectly told us that you believe that website!" Kaito teased playfully along with Mikuo.

"You two are unbelievable! Why do you always team up to pick on me?!" grunted Len as he looked elsewhere. That's when he noticed from the other side of the shop's glass window, a few meters from where they are, a cloaked figure standing suspiciously among the passing crowd.

Mikuo and Kaito noticed Len's sudden silence and distant look and asked him what he was looking at. This snapped Len's attention from the stranger and he forced a laugh. "Nothing, I just thought…" He looked back at where the cloaked stranger was but was surprised when the person disappeared. "… Maybe I'm just seeing things."

"Weirdo," Kaito commented and he returned on indulging himself on his comfort food.

Mikuo, on the other hand, gave a quick glance to where he thought Len was looking at. "What did you thought you see?"

"A weird person wearing warm clothes in this warm weather," Len answered.

Mikuo snorted. "Who in the right mind would wear cloaks in this day and age?"

"Cosplayers?" the blond one scratched his head and laughed it off. "It's too hot so maybe I'm seeing things."

"Anyway, what are we having for dinner?" Mikuo changed the topic and continued eating his ice cream.

"I'm not your mother," said Len and gave him a disapproving frown.

"You're eating at Len's tonight?" the tallest one of them asked as he turned to face Mikuo.

"Yeah. I'm broke." Mikuo shrugged and eyed Len. "Soooo, what's for dinner? Can it be curry?"

"No." Len shot him down with a simple hand wave.

"But I want to take some home and share it with Rin," the teal-haired one whined.

"Speaking of Rin, how is she?" Kaito asked with concern. The last time you told us about her, she was feeling worse, right?"

Mikuo merely smiled. "She'd felt better since then. Her condition is improving!"

"That's good to hear," Kaito said with relief. "And when are you planning on letting us meet her?"

"It's been five years since we know you and you still don't want us to meet her," Len told him.

"I don't want your germs near her," Mikuo said indifferently, earning a scolding from his two friends.

"Last night in downtown Tokyo, another "Wonderland" victim had been reported by the victim, Luka Megurine's, family. The local police believe that it was yet again another curious teenager who had accessed the cursed website since she was found lifeless next to her laptop with the Wonderland's webpage. The victim's mother cries for justice for her daughter. This occurrence had happened for three weeks now, and the cause remained indefinite. Meanwhile, the government said that they are still looking for the creator of the said website and warns everyone all over the world to…"

"Whoa, it really reached worldwide news…" Len commented as he watched the local news in his television from the kitchen. "There are no similarities between any of them. Like, the website is just randomly taking teenagers. Freaky."

"Yeah…" his companion, Mikuo, replied with a bored look. He was sitting on the couch watching the news in boredom as he waited for his blond friend to finish cooking his dinner. The two of them said their goodbyes to Kaito after they finished hanging out at the ice cream shop. And before they arrived at Len's apartment unit, they shopped for groceries first, and unfortunately for Len, Mikuo won the argument and ended up buying things to make curry instead of Len's original plan of Korokke.

"By the way, Mikuo," Len said as he turned the stove off, his eyes showing slight irritation, "Why don't you at least help me cook OUR dinner?"

"Wanted me to burn your house?" Mikuo answered as he yawned and rested his back on the couch. His eyes watched the TV with unreadable eyes. It featured the pink-haired victim who was sent to the hospital.

"I'm not your slave, in case you've forgotten," Len dully answered and prepared two plates in the dining table.

"Yep, I've forgotten," Mikuo teased, earning a growl from the blue-eyed blond in the dining area. He stood up from the couch and turned the TV off. He walked towards the dining table and sat down. He watched Len as he poured down curry from the pot to the plates he set on the table. "Uhm… Len…"

"Yes, I've put your stupid leeks in the curry. I don't know how it'll taste though. It's gross," Len said before Mikuo could finish his sentence.

Mikuo grinned. "Thanks, man. And by the way, my leeks ARE NOT gross! It's good!"

"Yeah, yeah…" Len said as he finished pouring the curry to their plates. He placed the pot of curry back into the stove and sat down across Mikuo in the dining table. Then, they began eating. "Oh yeah, about the news regarding Wonderland…"

"What about it?" Mikuo asked uninterestedly. He placed a spoonful of curry in his mouth.

"What's that site again?" Len asked.

"Ah, so you're really interested. You plan on accessing it?" Mikuo asked, his eyes inspecting Len intently.

"No… just curious is all…" Len answered, eyes suddenly showing sadness.

Mikuo noticed his friend's sudden change in mood. "www. wonderland. com," he answered.

Ever since they started talking about the website, a creeping feeling bothered Len. He was curious as hell, but at the same time did not want anything to disrupt his perfectly normal life. Not that he one hundred percent believed the existence of the website.

"Whoops, sorry Len, better hurry up…" Mikuo suddenly said and began eating his food in a fast pace. "I better visit Rin-chan at the hospital before the visitors' time end."

"Oh… I see… Uhm… well okay then," Len said as he watched Mikuo finish his meal in a flash. He took a disposable container from Len's cupboard and filled it with curry from the pot, intending on sharing it with Rin. After that, he took his coat and hurriedly went out of his house.

Rin—Mikuo's childhood friend—was someone Len and Kaito found mysterious to this day. Len had never met this girl before but Mikuo had told him and Kaito a lot about her, and sometimes even showed them a picture. Rin looked almost exactly like Len, except the girl version. She had a white ribbon on her head that made her look like a bunny. And she wore white clips to keep her bangs from her face. They have the same last name but they were both sure that they were not related to each other. Otherwise, he'd know.

Rin was also born with a weak immune system. Because of that, she stayed at the hospital most of her life. Len also knew that Mikuo was in love with Rin, and sometimes teased him about it.

Truth be told, the only reason why Mikuo befriended Len at school, aside from being seatmates, was because he reminded him of Rin greatly—something Mikuo confessed to Len one random day. Len wasn't bothered by it though. In fact, he was grateful to have Mikuo as his best friend.

He sighed to himself as he is once again alone in his house. He took their used plates and dropped them on the sink. His parents were rarely home because of their frequent business trips and he was used to it. He had Mikuo to accompany him after all. Though he will never admit that he liked Mikuo's company, ever.

He went to his room and lied down on his bed. It was the start of summer vacation and he had nothing to do. He also didn't feel like starting his summer homework.

He looked at the ceiling, thinking of random things. Then, he turned his head slightly to the side to see his laptop on top of his table.

He sighed and decided to surf the net for a while before going to sleep.

He opened his laptop and googled the new anime show he had discovered yesterday.

After a few hours of searching random things in the internet, he decided to turn it off and go to bed.

Except… something in his mind suddenly told him not to close it yet.

He gulped. He suddenly remembered Wonderland. He wondered if those who fainted after accessing it were really true. He knew he shouldn't be curious… but for some reason… he was…

He clicked on the address bar and began typing…

www.

The laptop's light reflected on his eyes. He was slightly sweating.

wonderland.

Should he really do it? What if he got his soul sucked into the world of cyberspace?

com…

Yeah, like that's ever going to happen. The victims were probably just fatigued, that's why they fainted. And they were all coincidentally surfing on Wonderland's website.

He pressed 'enter'.

The little searching circle went on and he got connected to Wonderland.

He gulped nervously. Will he faint too just like all those victims?

Then, Len was greeted by the words 'cannot access the website'. He felt relieved. He relaxed his back on the chair's backrest and laughed at himself. Wonderland is a rumor! Everyone was just scaring people by fainting or pretending to be in a comma.

With that done, he turned his laptop off and went to bed.

"Luka followed after Gakupo, just as what we planned," a mysterious person said as they watched a girl sleeping on the hospital bed. It was midnight and the only light that supplied them was from the full moon.

Another person was standing on the corner of the room, arms crossed on their chest. "It's nice to see you finally using it as it was intended."

The mysterious person scanned the girl. There were a lot of tubes connected to her and the only sound that can be heard in the room was from the beeping of some of the machines that surrounded her.

"Don't act like you're not the one who put the idea in my head," the person near the sleeping girl glared at the other person in the room.

"I'm only here to help. It's good for both of us. And it's not like you'll be losing something important." The person chuckled knowingly.

There was a few seconds of silence. "I came here with only one reason, and that reason remained the same."

"And we'll continue to use it until the story ends." 'And finally I will be free.'

The next morning, Len woke up to the sounds of his beeping alarm clock. Why did he turn it on again? There was no school…

He slapped the annoying alarm off and sat on his bed. He lazily scanned his room, still half-asleep. Then, he noticed his phone. He got a mail.

He tapped his yellow phone open and found that he got a text message from Mikuo. He opened it and read the message.

'Come to my house as soon as you wake up.'

Len groaned. Mikuo could be irritating and too bossy sometimes. He wanted to ask why but then he knew that Mikuo will just say not to question him and just come just as he wanted.

He stood up lazily from his bed and took a quick shower. He grabbed a banana from the fruit basket in the kitchen and began eating it. After that, off he went to his annoying friend's house.

When he arrived there, he rang the doorbell. But after a few minutes, no one still answered. He scratched his head in annoyance and decided to come in anyway. Good thing he had a spare key given to him by Mikuo sometime ago.

"Mikuo? Hey, Mikuo it's me. Where are you?" he asked the empty living room.

He decided to climb up the stairs and went inside Mikuo's room. He opened the door and found a sleeping Mikuo next to his open laptop. The laptop displayed a site he had never seen before. He walked towards Mikuo and began shaking him. "Mikuo… Hey, Mikuo wake up!" He continued shaking Mikuo until the teal-haired man dropped on the ground. Len was shocked by this and started to panic.

He began shaking Mikuo to wake him up again, but to no avail, his friend continued on showing no hints of regaining consciousness. He looked up to the laptop and its displayed webpage. He looked at the address bar and read it…

www. wonderland. com

Len's blue eyes widened in fear and shock.

What the hell? Did Mikuo access the site and fainted afterwards? But he just accessed it last night and nothing happened! Then, he remembered something. Wonderland can only be accessed once the person had a wish that they truly wanted to be granted. Could Mikuo have a wish that he really wanted to be granted so badly?

He looked at Mikuo again. The lifeless form of Mikuo continued on greeting him.

"M-Mikuo…" he stuttered.

Wonderland… is real…

There wasn't anyone in Mikuo's house so he can't ask for anyone's help. He just laid down Mikuo on his bed and he immediately turned to his friend's laptop. There were a lot of his schoolmates and classmates who had been reported in a state of comma for the past few weeks but none of them were close to him so he didn't pay that much attention. But now, his best friend was a victim! He can't just sit there and do nothing. Mikuo looked as if he was only sleeping, except he just won't wake up.

What should he do?

He tried refreshing the website again, but it just showed that it cannot be accessed again.

He needed to have a wish to access it!

"I wish Mikuo would come back. I wish Mikuo would come back," he chanted repeatedly as he continued on pressing the 'refresh' button. But again, to no avail, it won't let him in.

He began trembling, having negative thoughts enter his mind. What if Mikuo would never wake up again?

He opened his phone and began dialing another friend's number, hoping it would calm him down. He put the phone on his ear when he heard the person on the other line answering it.

"Hello? Len?" the familiar voice of his friend Kaito answered.

"KAITO!" Len practically yelled. "L-Listen, I'm at Mikuo's place and I found him dead at his room. Then I saw his laptop and saw that he—"

"Wait! M-Mikuo's DEAD?" Kaito asked fearfully at the other end of the line.

"What? No! He's not yet dead… he looks like he's just sleeping but he won't wake up!" Len answered in panic.

"Did you try to wave a leek in front of him?" Kaito asked, half-joking half-serious.

"YES!" Len answered.

Now, that's bad. If Mikuo didn't wake up after waving a leek in front of him, then it really must mean that something bad happened to him!

"O-Okay, listen… Have you found anything suspicious in his room? Like drugs or something? Not that I'm accusing Mikuo a drug addict, I just—"

"He accessed the cursed website of Wonderland," Len replied. "But I can't access it. I tried to but it won't let me in!"

"W-Wonderland? That ridiculous rumor on the internet? That's just a way of scaring people. Wonderland's not real. It's just a myth. I tried it last night and it said that the site doesn't exist," Kaito said.

"Yeah, that's what I believed too…" Len announced sadly, then his eyes narrowed, "But I'm serious. Wonderland is real! It's not just something to joke about! It took Mikuo away!"

"Len, maybe Mikuo's just tired or spent the whole night watching porn. That's why he fell asleep—" Kaito was cut off again.

"Look, I've checked his browser's history and I've found no porn. The only thing that he looked up yesterday was this s-stupid Wonderland website that I CAN'T ACCESS!" Len answered as he checked Mikuo's browser's history again. "You've got to help me! I don't know what to do! I don't have Mikuo's family contact and their phone line's cut off!"

"Fine! I'll be right there in fifteen minutes. Wait for me," Kaito said and ended the call.

"Hurry!" Len yelled after Kaito ended the phone call.

He turned back to the laptop again and began refreshing the site. What if Mikuo died? Did Wonderland really take him? Oh god, he was panicking. That was pretty rare of him. He wasn't used to this kind of abnormal routine in his average life! And why Mikuo of all people?

"Mikuo… wake up…" he muttered and continued on refreshing the website.

He got irritated after fifteen minutes when Kaito still hasn't arrived. He opened another tab in the browser and googled, "How to access the Wonderland website?"

He got some site showing how to access it but they were all just saying to have a wish you wanted granted so badly.

He tried to calm himself down again.

He gathered all of his courage and said, "Please, I want Mikuo to wake up again." It was what he really wanted at that moment.

Then, as he pressed the 'refresh' button, it successfully loaded the website.

"Damn, stupid traffic…" Kaito muttered on the bus. He stared outside the window and silently prayed that Mikuo was fine and he was just joking around.

Then, he caught a glimpse of his favorite ice cream shop having a sale on one of his favorite ice cream flavors. He instinctually pressed the 'stop' button on the bus and walked towards the ice cream shop, drooling and walking like a zombie.

"Mmm… Ice cream…"

Before he went inside though, he snapped to his senses. "A friend is in trouble! Not the time for i-ice cream!" He eyed the shop longingly and shook his head. He went back to the bus stop, hoping the bus was still there.

Unfortunately, it already left.

"Shit."

The next bus would come after another twenty minutes.

Kagamine Len stared at the site. His mind paused. As far as he knew, he kept on accessing it for the past hour, but failing miserably and now, he was staring at the website and not the words 'cannot access' anymore…

Does that mean he had successfully accessed it? How?

He wanted to have Mikuo back so badly… Is that really what it takes to access the site?

In the site were a few words. It said "Welcome to the world of Wonderland! Please type your wish on the tab below. By clicking enter, you can have your wish granted. By clicking cancel, you will be unable to access this site anymore."

"Sounds suspicious…" Len whispered to himself. He looked at the lifeless body of Mikuo again. He gulped and began typing…

"I want," he began typing. Then, he saw that a list of suggestions dropped down, meaning that Mikuo had really been there and typed something before. The suggestion was "I want Kagamine Rin to be happy".

Kagamine Rin? Oh, that's right. She was Mikuo's friend. So does that mean that Mikuo accessed Wonderland to grant Rin happiness? He ignored the suggestion and continued typing, "I want Hatsune Mikuo to wake up again".

He placed the pointer on the 'enter' button. Now, all he needed was a simple click and then who knows what will happen next?

He admitted to himself that he was pretty nervous. What if he ended up lifeless too just like what happened to Mikuo and all those other teenagers that accessed the site? Will he be featured in the news too? What would happen? Will he be able to go back to the real world?

Then, he remembered Kaito. If something happened to him, then he was sure that Kaito would do anything he can to help him and Mikuo go back. But first…

He took a paper from Mikuo table and began writing on it. "To Kaito, if we are found lifeless right now, please do not try to access the site of Wonderland. There maybe another way to make us go back. We are probably stuck in Wonderland until then."

There, he wrote a warning. That way, people won't try to do the stupid thing he might do right now.

He left the note right beside the laptop and went back to the site. The pointer was still on the 'enter' button. One click and he'll find out everything.

His heart began beating faster. He was still nervous.

Then, he reminisced the good times he spent with Mikuo and Kaito. No matter what, he really needed to have Mikuo back. And if he also gets stuck in Wonderland, then he could count on Kaito to find out how to get them back.

His forefinger twitched. He tightened his grip on the mouse. One click and he'll know.

One click…

Just one

Simple

Click…

Click

Oh crap, he clicked it.

The website suddenly changed and it showed 'loading'.

Crappy-crap-crap.

Wonderland's loading…

What will happen to him?

The loading finished and Len prepared for the worse.

Suddenly, the room was surrounded with light. The laptop's screen glowed and it showed nothing in the room but pure white.

When the light faded, it revealed a fainted Len who dropped on the ground, next to Mikuo's bed, lifelessly.

To be continued.

A/N: I've edited this from the original first chapter. The general story is still the same, I just made a few tweaks and scene changes here and there. And I also fixed some wordings and grammatical errors.

Hope you enjoyed it!
