It was a normal day in the Sawada household. I-pin was chasing Lambo around. Yamamoto and Gokudera were over.
And of course, Reborn was torturing Tsuna.
'That's another question you got wrong,' Reborn once again pressed the red button, triggering another explosion.
'Reborn! Will you stop doing that?!?!?' Tsuna groaned. There was only so many times he could stand the usual homework bombs that Reborn set off whenever he got something wrong.
'Tenth, it's easy! See, just use this formula, apply this here, then if you add in Newton's third law of gravity'
'That sounds like a load of bull to me, Gokudera. I'd say, go with your gut instinct, Tsuna. Can't be that bad, it's a multiple choice test, isn't it?' Yamamoto shrugged with the reassuring smile on his face.
Studying for a test the next day, the gang was hanging out in Tsuna's room, eating treats that Nana had baked for them and sushi Yamamoto had brought over. Between eating, solving math questions, the occasional scuffle and bombs, it was exactly what you'd normally expect in the life of Tsuna Sawada.
'You know...' Reborn remarked, nibbling on a cookie, 'speaking of 25% chances, I've signed you guys up for the Hunters exam this year.'
With that comment came several reactions: From Yamamoto, a small 'hmmm?' and curious expression.
From Gokudera, an 'ALRIGHT!' and a fist pump.
From outside, the usual battle cry of Lambo [unrelated to the comment, but interesting timing.
From Tsuna, a groan/cry/whimper/faint/sigh, while looking dejected.
'What is it that you're dragging us into now, Reborn? And I thought just for once I'd be able to have a normal term and break...' Tsuna let his head hit the desk and turned to face Reborn.
'Tenth, don't you get it? This is awesome! Once we get the hunters license, the possibilities are endless!' Gokudera was spazzing, muttering under his breath, his face glowing with excitement. 'Damn it, I should have thought about it earlier... should have done it while I was 12'
Yamamoto's only comment was 'Seems fun, when do we start?'.
