That's What They all Say

By: Higasa

"Seto, can I ask you something?" Mokuba asked. The two brothers were in Seto's office at KaibaCorp. Seto was, as usual, buried by the mundane paper work that was on his desk, sent by his personal secretary.

"What is it?" Seto asked, hardly looking up from his laptop. He picked up the cup of coffee that was near him and began to sip it.

"Are you gay?" Seto nearly spilled his coffee onto his pants.

He raised his eyebrows at his younger brother. "What makes you think that I am?" he asked wearily, mentally shuddering at the prospect thought. It was like saying he was betrothed to Wheeler's sister, what's-her-name.

"I didn't think that you were, but a certain reporter name Makiko Yoshida, thinks so since you never seem interested in girls," Mokuba told him.

Seto scowled. "Mokuba, how many times have I told you not to talk to her?" he chided.

"I didn't," Mokuba answered honestly. "She just approached me on the way up here and started to ask questions."

Makiko Yoshida was a news reporter who dedicated her life to finding out the love life of Seto Kaiba. She is convinced that he is not single and currently is gay because he always seemed to brush her off whenever a businessman approaches him. She was, however, for a time transferred over to cover sports because Seto had put sexual harassment charges on her, but somehow convinced her editor to let her write about Seto Kaiba in general and not just his love life.

"But if you're not gay, as you claim to say, Seto," Mokuba said. "What kind of girls turns you on?"

Seto blinked. He never gave a thought about girls before because most of his time was devoted to Mokuba and work. Besides girls annoyed him. He was disgusted at the fact that they tend to go after him because of his looks, status, and money.

Though there was one type of girl that turned him on…it was Anzu Mazaki.

Even though she was always annoying him, constantly bugging him about joining an activity with her group of friends (other than engaging in a Duel Monsters game, and had a mouth that was either talking about friendship or bickering with him, nevertheless she had made quite an impression on him since that day in Duelist Kingdom when he was about to gamble his life just to save his brother.

"No one," Seto said simply.

Mokuba looked at him for a while and tched. "That's what they all say."

Fin.

My first (Yu-gi-oh) oneshot. I think I am pretty good at writing oneshots than at writing fan fiction. But I hope you enjoyed it. I'll try to write some stories, but I can't promise anything yet. Anyways, hope you all have a Merry Christmas.
