For Angela, it was love at first sight. She had breached the surface for air (she had to, after saving that man), when she saw him. Sitting in the tallest chair, overlooking the humans and their pups. He was dressed like most men on the shore, though on his lap was something she couldn't identify. It took one look for her to fall hard. She knew she was staring, and she knew she didn't need to be on the surface but that human man was so captivating for her.

Eventually she tore her gaze away to return to her home in the deeper waters. But now she would go to the surface more than she needed to.

Once a week, she would allow herself one day a week to look at the Man she has fallen for. She had to content herself with looks from afar, she couldn't risk getting closer and revealing what she is. Too many humans, far too many risks. But, she wanted to let him know she existed. Let him know someone was vying for his attention. She chewed her lip. How? How would she? He didn't arrive until the shore started to get too crowded to get close, and the humans stay as long as possible, until the sun has gone below the waves to rest. Too dark for even her to see.

Frustrated, she dove down to return home. She'd find out a way. Somehow or another, she'd figure out how. She is one of the brightest healer alive. She would find out how to give the man a gift.
