"When are you and Korra going to get married 'Sami?" Rohan looked up into Asami's eyes as he was sitting cross legged from her in the middle of the bed. He rested his head on the upturned palm of his left hand. His right hand fingers gently tapping on the Pai So' board. He smiled. "You two love one another. You pretty much live with one another." He shrugged. "When are you finally getting married?"
A light blush played on Asami's cheeks as she smiled at the four year old boy across from her. "You would like that wouldn't you Ro?"
"Of course I would." Rohan looked at her like she just asked the silliest of all questions.
In truth Asami Sota did ask the silliest of all questions of all time.
"So ..." Rohan waved his right hand. "Meelo says you never will ... because you truly love him."
Asami giggled. "Meelo is still too young for me. He's still a child. You tell that brother of yours that by the time he is an adult; I'll be old." She gently moved a piece forward. She watched as the little boy looked down at the board, and tilted his head. She waited as he slightly thought about the move he wanted to make.
"Meelo has a that girl that is his own age." Rohan looked up his finger still on his piece. He slid it to the right. "Although he is trying to remain loyal to you." Rohan sat back. "I'm sure that once you and Korra are married; then Meelo can give up his crush on you."
"Is that the reason why you want Korra and I married, Rohan?" Asami gently asked. "That's not a good reason on getting married little man."
Rohan heaved a sigh in his small body. "'Asami relax all ready. Daddy and Mama all ready talked to me about this." He smiled thinly. "Also Meelo himself said that he knew that you would never go for you. That he has always known from the very first time that he saw you, and Korra together that he knew your souls were linked together." He leaned forward. "That was why he always made sure to interrupt whenever Mako and Korra were trying to have alone time at Air Temple Island." He giggled.
Asami couldn't keep the giggle from slipping out. "As a proper adult I shouldn't be encouraging behavior like that." She reminded herself that there was a four year old child in front of her. She didn't want to have Rohan thinking that was the best behavior to have around other people. She wouldn't be able to face Tenzin or Pema again.
"So 'Asami when are you and Korra going to get married?" Rohan repeated his original question.
Asami bit her bottom lip as the thoughts flooded her soul once more. "Soon." She husked out.
