It was sort of a bitter taste, unlike the others, but the texture was still just as good.
Chapter 1
We first arrived in the town a few days ago, awed by the diverse citizenry. Abrigailian didn't like like me looking at all the nice flesh, but I couldn't help but look and idolize.
We move into a small house just to the south of town, where a griffin stayed. The citizens of the town mainly comprised of young horses, so my presence, as a human specter, was another uniqueness to them. I found them surprising, and they found me interesting, though if it was good thing or not eluded me. Abrigailian was a large-bred pyro-stallion with the ability to shift into a human, but she was my beautiful wife in either form. I could never want her any different.
I could never betray her, not unless I wanted to be lit on fire until I cried mercy, which happens a lot, but not for cheating. Rather, she burns me if I don't let her join my pleasurable activities when she's interested in them.
The first people that we met here were Marion Blackberry and Apple Cider. Abrigailian was the only one of us to understand them, as they didn't speak in a way a human could understand and vice versa, so Abrigailian translated between the two parties.
"They welcome us to the town of Equestria. They are known as Marion Blackberry and Apple Cider," Abrigailian translated, with her cute stoic voice.
"Well, thank you, Marion and Cider!" I told them in reply, and Abrigailian translated for Marion and Cider, who left after introductions.
The next group, this time of three, were friends of Marion and Cider, named Fruit Salad, Whipped Cream, and Grape Vanilla. Of course, I would repeat the exchange had it differed from the last one, however...
They mentioned a sixth member of the group that would've come had she not had work to do as a pastry shop clerk, before heading their own way. There were a lot of mares in Equestria, and as such Abrigailian didn't want me flirting with them, so we stayed home for the night. We planned to visit the girl at the pastry shop the next day, as the five that visited us said to.
"So, am I to believe that your first day went smoothly, or have you already screwed something up and you're calling as you're packing to head back?"
"Nope, I at least haven't done anything wrong. We haven't been here long, so if I did, I don't think we'd be here long," I answered.
"Right, right." He paused, muttering something to someone on his side. "You mentioned that you had to rely on Miss Kagmi had to talk to the horses, right?"
"There were also unicorns intermixed into the populace, and you know about-"
"Yes, I know well enough what the Unicorn of Ilia is capable of. I was around when it came into being." Of course, old man. "If nothing has happened on either end, then proceed onto the next phase, Celton."
"Alright, Sergeant Davis," I quickly said as he disconnected. Abrigailian was sound asleep when I entered the bedroom. I wondered what she was dreaming about, possibly about Davis' task.
Of course, since it us, we might just go a little overboard.
