This is my introduction of Lady Lujin, keeper of the heart of Elementia, and protector of the world. Also the only other person who can bend all four elements…and she can do it with her MIND!

Prologue

Golden light filtered through the windows of High Castle. Groggily, I stood and made my way to the window. What I saw stunned me. Firebenders. An army of Firebenders, attacking High Castle, the most sacred of grounds in the entire world… besides this was my home.

I am Lady Lujin, Heart of Elementia and Supreme Master of the Four Elements. I had been a legend and a figurehead in the world for some time. As the sages who cared for me insisted, declaring that's why I had made the Avatar. But the Avatar wasn't here and I was just as big an opponent if not bigger to the fFire Nation. They couldn't kill me without destroying this world but they could hold me captive.

The heavy wood of my door shuddered. I whipped around and an Earth wall replaced my door.

"Lujin!" came a muffled voice. My dear friend, Lia, a Waterbender sage, "It's me! And Kayak!" the wall drew back and let them enter before closing back.

Kayak had his sword in one hand and a fist of fire burned the other. Kayak was my guard and had protected me for hundreds of years, somehow as immortal as I. His amber eyes watched intently as Lia threw two outfits for each nation. (one formel one common with the exeption of Fir Nation where she threw in three common uniforms) into an Earth Kingdom duffle.

When she had finished she threw Kayak my duffle and grabbed my wrist, dragging me into the stables, where my animals waited. Teya, my badger mole and Sep, my ostrich horse, had already been shipped to the Earth Kingdom. Ania, my sky bison, Ikara, my sea serpant, and Fixka my eel hound had taken to their elements. My dragon, Kizon, was waiting for us wings spread.

Lia shoved me forward and pushed me into Kizon's saddle. Kayak jumped behind me taking the reins.

"Get her to safety!" Lia shouted, tossing up my glider. That's when all of it hit me. They were taking me from High Castle in its hour of need.

"No! I can help! Let me go, Kayak!" I shouted, Lia stepped back and with heavy thumps Kizon rose into the air.

"NO!" I shouted as High Castle disappeared beneath us. Tears rolled down my cheeks as the burning dot that was once my grand home High Castle, disappeared from view.

NOOOO! Poor Lujin…where will she go… where will she find the Avatar and will she ever reclaim her island home of High Castle?
