"JACK!" The Easter Bunny annoyed voice shouted, echoing around the North Pole.
At the time Jack was hiding in North's office while North was out. He listened as the shouts got louder and louder. Jack even heard the door being kicked at on the lower floor.
"Ha, glade he got my wake up call," Jack smirked to himself. He started spinning the chair and laughing with joy. The consequences meant nothing, as always.
The yetis started making yeti sounds to each other along with what sounded like shuffling outside. One yeti pushed open the office door and hid behind the chair. The elves started to ring their bells at top volume. Jack used his stick to shut the door, but right after he did that BANG! Bursting through the door a furious and burnt bunny entered the room. Jack just grinned.
"You think this is funny mate!?" Exclaimed Bunnymund, walking closer to Jack, with anger burning brightly in his eyes.
"Correction, I thought it was hilarious!" Jack replied, the grin never leaving his face. He knew, trying to act all innocent with the psychopathic bunny wouldn't do him any good. Bunnymund grabbed Jack's jacket collar tightly and lifted him up. "May I add it worked amazingly," Jack continued not caring about this situation he was in as he was now face-to-face - eye-to-eye, with the psychopathic bunny. "Because if that wake up call hadn't been specially sent to you, you wouldn't be here right now." Jack finished; yes sending a firebomb wasn't the kindest idea, but hey, maybe next time he'll remember not to mess with Jack Frost.
"Humph, why do I need to be here anyway?" Moaned the Easter Bunny with a rough voice and the anger still showed in his eyes.
"North wanted to call a meeting, but had other things to do, so he told me to gather you all here," Jack answered calmly, thinking to himself, "you're only ever invited up here when there's a meeting, bloody idiot!" Bunnymund started pacing back and forth for a minute, thinking to himself until he suddenly stopped.
"Huh. So you sent fire bombs to all the others aye?" Bunny asked, turning his head towards Jack, then turning his whole body to face Jack with his arms folded and a wide big grin on his face.
"Of course not, after all, it was specially done for you," Jack replied, then got out of North's chair and made his way to the door, Bunny close behind.
"The others should be arriving shortly, I used the colourful lights in the sky thing to call them." Bunny just sighed, not even bothering to correct him. It wasn't long before North returned with the rest of the gang.
"Wow, Bunny actually got here first! Am I dreaming or something?" The Tooth Fairy giggled.
"Ha. Ha. Ha. Please stop, you're killing me." Replied the Easter Bunny with obvious sarcasm and an expressionless face.
"So what's the emergency?" asked Jack, as he made snow balls and threw them at the elves.
"Come, my friends," North announced, leading the Guardians to the globe.
"I saw darkness, you know what that means."
"Pitch, obviously," commented the Bunny with his arms folded and still expressionless. He looked like a bored zombie.
"No! It was worse!" Replied North, as he made gestures with his hands.
"No?" Asked Bunny; shocked like everyone else with the reply North gave. Slowly his voice started to rise with anger and annoyance at Santa, "What do you mean no!? Pitch is the worse person we have ever faced!"
Jack sighed, no longer interested on what was going on.
"I couldn't tell who it was except that it was a witch! Witches are always bad news." Replied North, then changing his gaze from Bunnymund to the Moon, finally noticing the moons rays shining twice as brightly then usual. When the rays get brighter, it usually means the MiM wishes to speak.
"It's time." All the guardians quickly assembled in front of the globe; even Jack. The Man in the Moon projected dark mist on the globe, which then took the form of people. It projected a witch and a whole army attacking the world. Soon the Guardians were able to make out the complete details of what the people looked like.
North gasped, recognizing the witch as none other than Angelique Bouchard.
"Kill them all," Angelique said.
"Soon the guardians will be no more as the world becomes dark and cold. Hahaha. Then we will kill the rest of the stupid Frost family and annihilate the Guardians, oh I almost forgot about those stupid, damn friends of Jacks, already hanging by one of my threads. Hahaha," Angelique concluding her speech to the army whom all burst out into cheers and twisted laughs.
The projection faded and all the Guardians were standing motionless, unable to fully grasp what they have just seen. They all just stood there in complete silence, until Jack broke it.
"My family would be dead by now, it's been 300 odd years, and these friends surely would be dead too." Jack mumbles more to himself then the Guardians. Disbelief was spread out on his facial features as his mind was full with doubts, but at the same time his curiosity wanted to know more.
North put his hand on Jacks shoulder, trying his best to comfort him.
"Who was that witch, I heard you gasp when her picture became clear North, so I assume you must know who it is," Jack asked, turning to face North as he did so.
"Da, I know who the witch is. Her name is Angelique Bouchard." North replied disbelief and shock making it's way into his voice. He then looked up to meet Jack's gaze.
"Who's Angelique Bouchard?" Jack asked hesitantly, knowing that he probably didn't want to know, but seeing North and the others act the way they did, he had no choice.
"Angelique Bouchard is a dark, evil witch who would stop at nothing to kill her targets, even the ones who get in the way, and right now she wants your family and us. For all we know it could be a trap. She's a twisted dark soul and we need to be ready to fight her," North replied.
After the meeting Jack flew off outside in the cold, only left with his thoughts and unanswered questions.
"My family are still alive? How many? How are they still alive?" Jack asked himself over and over again.
