What if no 5: Emma like girls
Emma Gilbert and her best friend Cleo Sertori are on the way to school, walking along the street.
"Cleo, there's something I need to tell you..." says Emma. "I'm a bit nervous since I'm not sure how you're gonna take it."
"Em, it can't be that bad, right...? Just tell me." says Cleo with a smile.
"Okey..." says Emma, who seem very nervous and nothing like her regular strong confident self.
"Yes...?" says Cleo.
"I sort of like..." says Emma. "I like girls!"
"You're a lesbian?" says Cleo surprised.
"Yes..." says Emma.
"That wasn't so bad, huh?" says Cleo with a soft friendly laugh.
"You don't think that's weird, Cleo?" says Emma, sounding like a shy little 6 year old.
"No, not one bit. You're still you. Emma Rowena Gilbert, my best friend and fellow mermaid." says Cleo.
"What If I...you know...had a crush on you?" says Emma.
"You do?" says Cleo.
"Maybe, but if I do...would you hate me?" says Emma.
"Why would I hate you?" says Cleo. "Okey, I'm no lesbian myself, but I'd still be totally flattered that my best friend find me so cute and attractive."
"Thanks...for being so understanding, Cleo!" says Emma as she give Cleo a brief, but warm hug.
"No problem, girl." says Cleo as she giggle a little.
"Awww, Cleo! You're awesome!" says Emma with a soft sweet voice.
Later Emma and Cleo meet up with Rikki in the Moon Cave on Mako.
"Rikki, I believe our Emma has something to tell you..." says Cleo as she give Emma a friendly wink.
"Don't judge me too hard, Rikki..." says Emma. "I'm gay, a lesbian. I love girls."
"You? Miss Perfect School-chick, like girls...?" says a surprised Rikki, who can't believe what Emma says.
"Yeah! Not what most people would think, huh?" says Emma.
"I could never guess." says Rikki.
"Rikki, you're okey with me being gay then?" says Emma.
"Yeah, it's a little weird, but I'm goin' to get used to it and you're still you, Em. So...it's okey!" says Rikki.
"Good!" says Emma, now her normal happy self again.
"So, who's your girl-crush, Em? Cleo, me?" says Rikki.
"I really don't have an actual girl-crush. Just last month I wasn't even sure if I am a lesbian or not. This lesbian lifestyle is still very new to me." says Emma.
"I think Cleo's your girl-crush, Em. I mean...it can't be me." says Rikki with a smile.
"Why not...?" says Emma with a smirk.
"Face it, Em. I'm not your type." says Rikki.
"Maybe..." says Emma as she blush a little.
"Emma's got a crush on Rikki...!" says Cleo in a melodic tone, teasing Emma a little in a friendly way.
"I do not!" says Emma, all fake-angry.
"Why is your face all red then?" says Cleo to Emma.
"Nothing!" says Emma.
"If you say so..." says Rikki to Emma.
Two days later Emma arrive at the Sertori-house when Cleo's home alone.
Emma's wearing a beautiful dark-purple dress.
"Cleo, you're my girl-crush!" says Emma with a smile as she enter the house.
"Oh!" says Cleo. "As I said before, I'm not a lesbian..."
"That's okey! I'm happy to just havin' a crush on you...even if you could never love me in that way." says Emma.
"If so you're totally free to have a crush on me, Em." says Cleo.
"Thanks, Cleo!" says Emma as she give Cleo a small quick peck on the mouth.
"Oh, no problem, girl." says Cleo.
"Let's watch a movie!" says Emma.
"Okey! What do you wanna watch? Comedy, drama, horror, fantasy or rom com?" says Cleo.
"I'd say rom com." says Emma.
"Okey, rom com it is!" says Cleo.
"I love rom coms!" says Emma.
"Me too! Rom coms...or chick flicks as Rikki call them are awesome." says Cleo.
The End.
