A/N: First fanfiction ever more like a drabble. Be gentle English is not my first language.
She was late and she knew it but she had to pick the perfect wine and the perfect movies, she was glad her friends were spending the night with her but she wasn't stupid, she knew that they probably had other plans but as she got a text from Arizona saying everything was almost set she couldn't help but smile. Arizona was indeed an awesome friend, sure they hang out a lot more a few years ago but she understood. Arizona has a family now, a wife and a beautiful baby girl just like she once had a husband.
Deciding she'd never pick one of the bottles she took the three of them instead and she remembered hearing something about "salsa dancing" down the hospital's halls so she picked Dirty Dancing and also Beaches because she was all about friends tonight.
After a very good and fun time watching Dirty Dancing, Arizona got up to make more popcorn and Callie was right behind her to refill their glasses. Bailey was on the other couch beaming at the baby monitor she stole from the mothers. It was all too familiar, it felt light and right.
She was not supposed to be at home, completely alone trying to sleep but never getting any because the silence was just too loud. She heard Arizona asking Bailey to take the popcorn so she could take the glasses while Callie checked on Sofia. For the first time since her husband died she felt like she could relax, she heard laughter and closed her eyes, a smile playing on her lips as she felt sleep overcome her. She didn't need a grief group; she just needed her support system, her friends.
