32: Night

"Kai! Wait!" Tyson yelled, running after Kai's retreating figure. Kai stopped, but didn't turn around. Tyson caught up, and took a few seconds to catch his breath, before putting a hand on Kai's shoulder. "Hey….caught up to ya." Tyson said, grinning. Kai tensed, feeling Tyson's hand on his shoulder, and pushed the hand off, knocking Tyson to the ground in the process. "Leave me alone." Kai said coldly. Tyson tried to speak, but couldn't. "!" Tyson gasped as he sat up in bed, and looked at the clock, it read two in the morning. "…that dream…if only it was just a dream…" he muttered, before slipping out of bed. He undressed and got changed into his regular clothes. "might as well take a ride, maybe get a few groceries even…" he said to himself, grabbing his jacket, and walking through the hall to the front door, pausing by his grandfather's photo. "I'll be back soon, gramps." he said, slipping his shoes on and opening the door. He closed the door, and took off at a sprint towards the garage, and opened the door, grabbing his helmet and putting it on. He pushed his bike out of the garage and closed the door, before hopping onto his bike. He kicked the kickstand up and slipped the key in, turning the ignition on, and revving the engine up, before taking off towards the main part of the city. He pulled into a parking space, and shut the engine off, kicking the stand down, and hooking his helmet to the bike, before walking up to the building, and walking inside. He walked into the bookstore, and headed for the adult section, looking for a book that caught his eye. He saw one, and reached for it, knocking hand with another individual who was reaching for the same book…
