Prologue:
A female with bright, icy blue eyes stood weakly on her feet, her gaze flickering over to the other two girls beside her. One was a dark, chestnut brown with purple rimmed glasses placed on the bridge of her nose. She was a bit taller than the others and her violent gaze twinkled in worry. The other was short with stubby arms and legs. Her fur was a beautiful shade of amber and her eyes were like two pools of jade.
"Eleanor, Jeanette," The blue eyed one whispered over to her sisters urgently. "The Court has called us." Jeanette fidgeted from where she stood, her purple eyed gaze falling to her hands, fiddling around with her hair that had been put up in a messy ponytail. "I know you're afraid of them but we have to go. Now." The younger sisters exchanged worried glances, but solemnly nodded.
Brittany, the eldest sister, crept down the dark alleyway, her hands holding onto her sisters tightly. Her first job was to protect them, to keep them safe, and she intended to do the best that she could do at that job. No one would lay a single finger on her sisters if Brittany thought they would threaten them.
All was silent as they past. Most had learned not to bother them. Word traveled fast in the small town of Brig Linton, and apparently their little rough up with one of the toughest guys in town, Richard, wasn't unheard of. Their footsteps echoed in the silent courtyard as they made their way to the mansion, the skirts of their gowns that clothes them swaying as they walked. Brittany adjusted the bonnet on her head, feeling slightly unsettled. It had been years since she had been there last, and she dreaded every visit they had with the Court.
As the three of them arrived at their destination, they sat down in some chairs and waited for the Three members of the Court to arrive. Brittany nervously bounced her knee as she waited, Jeanette twirled her hair around one of her fingers, and Eleanor simply hummed hoping to keep herself occupied.
It didn't take long before five figures appeared. One of them looked like a floating shadow in midair with two dark, red glowing eyes. That was Night, the element of darkness, one that wasn't to be messed with. Then there was another girl with glowing bright, hazel eyes. Her hair was flowing behind her and had flowers that decorated it, her smile bright and happy and smiled to light up the whole room. She was Mother Nature, the one that created the Earth's animals. Then came in Glow, the element of light and happiness, her hair golden and her eyes golden eyes shone brightly in excitement. They were the three oldest and wisest of elements.
Brittany and her three sisters were the elements of the seasons. Brittany was the element of summer. Jeanette was the Element of Fall, and Eleanor the element of spring. The last sister, Wynter, had disappeared long ago, and she had been the element of winter.
"You called us?" Brittany asked, her sunny personality already lighting up the room. Or maybe it was just Glow that was doing so, or their powers combined, which could ever be sure?
"Wynter needs to come back. Without her to destroy summer and give the Earth time to heal for its rebirth the next season, summer will continue to get hotter and hotter until no one, even us, will survive. Go forth and find your sister, before all is lost."
I know it's short and maybe not the best, but this is just the prologue to give you an idea of what the story is about and stuff. Should I continue? Please comment what you think! Xxx ~Smile
