The Doctor spun around in her TARDIS, ignoring Alexander's and Aurora's looks. Well, they were Alex and Rory, but if the Doctor was truly mad, she'd call them by they real names instead of the nicknames.

"Doctor, what are you doing?" Alex said, his Scottish accent slightly thick, but she could understand him.

"What does it look like?" The Doctor replied, spinning in a circle.

"You're spinning."

"No, I am waiting for you to decide where we go!"

Alex groaned, it wasn't that obvious. The Doctor looked like a hyper, but bored little kid when she would run around the TARDIS.

"Why don't we visit your planet, Doctor?" Rory suggested, leaning back on her heels.

The Doctor went silent, all movement ceased. Slowly, she looked over at her two companions. Her eyes were glaring, yet there was a shadow of pain and guilt in them.

Alex and Rory stiffened, not expecting that kind of look from the Doctor, who was always cheery and jumpy. Now, she looked like a killer, a dangerous one too.

Noticing the shock and slight terror registering on her companion's faces, the Doctor spun around again and smiled.

"Well…that's not really a good place! Let's choose somewhere else!" The Doctor decided, humming as she fixed her bow-tie.

"Doctor…Why can't we go to your planet?" Alex asked, walking towards the console.

"It isn't all that interesting, Alex." The Doctor lied, Gallifrey was the most beautiful planet she knew. And it was gone. Thanks to her.

"Oh…" Alex cheered, noticing how the Doctor clenched her jaw, "We could go to…Camelot!"

"Camelot? Seriously, Alex?" Rory added, walking up next to him.

"I met Merlin once, a nice lad, but lonely. Good man, so is Arthur, he's nice. It'll be good to see Camelot again!" The Doctor rambled, messing with the TARDIS controls.

There they were, off on a adventure again.
