To my dearest Sister,

I have always taken pride in being your brother, albeit most of the time I may appear to be a dillydallying and foolish one. I have always admired you in making the wisest decisions, sometimes wiser than what I've made.

Remember way back when we were in Serafew? When I told you that I'd wanted to just roam around and be the strongest mercenary I want to be, and leave the kingdom to your rule? There is some truth in that. Not in the "foolish, irresponsible romanticism" that I had, but in having you lead a country. You are even more deserving of the throne than I am. You are sympathetic, charismatic and people-oriented. You are a feminine Fado: strong but compassionate, fair but merciful.

I have always wished that we could rule Renais together. Your dreams are mine as well, and we have plenty of them for our country. Restoring the farmlands, providing the citizenry a stable government and rule of law, having tea with the other leaders on our leisure time in the guise of state visits- they are but a few of them. To be honest, I was laughing in this silly recollection. However, these ideas shall remain precious to me even if you decided to lead a new life in marital bliss. I know that leading Renais alone would be difficult. Nevertheless, I owe you the strength and the inspiration you have given me to be a renewed, capable king.

Now that you have made one of the biggest decisions in your life, I know that you will stand by it. You may no longer be Renais' queen anymore, but if you are serving the people, it doesn't matter whether you are in Renais or somewhere else. You shall remain endeared to their hearts, to our hearts. I firmly agree, despite your liege making the last bow upon your relief, that your duty does not end in surrendering the lunar brace nor moving north in Carcino.

A married life is not always easy, but I have never known you for carelessness. I believe you married a good man and that suffices my contented heart. I wish you all the best with him, and may the two of you be blessed with happy years ahead.

With all my love,

Ephraim
