Someone Like Elsa

'Oh my God, you're in love with her!'

'I am not!'

'You are too!' Kristoff grinned.

'I am so not! That's just weird anyway, she's my sister!'

'Anna loves Elsa! Anna loves Elsa!' Kristoff shouted, seeing Anna's blush.

'Shut up, someone will hear you!'

As soon as she walked in she felt the tension. Anna winced, feeling Elsa's eyes on the back of her head. But Anna wouldn't apologise this time, no, it was Elsa's turn. The accident wasn't Anna's fault. They say everyone that looks into their family history will find secrets sooner or later.

'One of us is going to have to say something sometime.' Elsa said coolly, as Anna sat down at the table.

'I was hoping that would be you.' Anna tried to mimic Elsa's tone. She wasn't fooling anyone with it though.

'Well you hoped wrong.'

'You can't hope wrong!' Anna said, losing her unbothered, cool, tone of voice.

'Well you did.'

'Kristoff is an idiot.'

'Yeah well...'

'Well what?'

'He did save your life.'

'So? That doesn't give him the right to ruin my life!'

Elsa laughed slightly, 'ruin your life?'

'Yes! My life is ruined!'

'How?'

Anna got up from the table, ready to bolt. 'Because, he told everyone, including you. He just couldn't keep his mouth closed, could he? And now look what he's done.'

'And what exactly is that?' Elsa liked teasing Anna, she liked winding her up, it was amusing.

'You and me aren't the same.'

'Did you expect us to be?'

'Hardly. But you won't accept it.'

'Won't accept it?'

'You, Elsa, will not accept the fact that I am in love with you.' Anna said, and then ran out of the door and to her bedroom.

Elsa knocked softly on the door. 'Anna? Do you wanna build a snowman? Come on lets go and play! I never see you anymore, come out the door! It's like you've gone away! We used to be best buddies, and now we're not, and I wish you would tell me why! Do you wanna build a snowman? It doesn't have to be a snowman.'

It pained Elsa to sing that, knowing that Anna had sung it all those years ago when Elsa had shut her out.

'Go away Elsa!'

'Okay, bye.' Elsa sung, she wasn't going to give up though. An hour later she came back.

'Anna? Do you wanna build a snowman? Or ride our bike around the halls? I think some company is overdue, I've started talking to the pictures on the walls! It gets a little lonely, all these empty rooms, just watching the hours tick by!'

'No.'

Elsa sighed, she wasn't getting anywhere like this. But the next hour she came back again.

'Anna? Please, I know you're in there... People are asking where you've been, they say have courage... And I'm trying to, I'm right out here for you... Just let me in. We only have each other, it's just you and me. What are we gonna do? Do you wanna build a snowman?'

Nothing came from inside. Elsa thought... She didn't know what else to do really, but she had a feeling that this was going to work.

'And for the first time in forever, you don't have to be afraid, and for the first time in forever, we'll fix the mess that Kristoff made! C'mon, we can do it together! You don't have to stay in here! 'Cause for the first time in forever, I will be right here.'

'Elsa...'

'Anna?'

Anna opened the door slightly. Elsa could see almost half of Anna's face. It was tear stained.

'Come on.' Elsa said, extending her hand to her sister, Anna pushed the door open a little more and slid her hand into Elsa's.
