This takes place a few weeks after the middle birthday, okay? Enjoy! It's kinda OOC, but I was craving to do this. So I just did it.
Sana held her breath. She remembered what Aya had told her.
'Just say it to him Sana. Trust me, he feels the same way. I mean, I didn't have the courage to confess to my darling Tsuyoshi for a long time, and when I did, look what happened! Go tell him,' she had said. She just walked up to Sana, said it, and walked away. Sana was confused at first, but eventually decided to tell Akito.
She pulled out her burucha(i think that's how it's spelled) and buzzed Akito.
"I'm right behind you dimwit," he said in a simple monotone.
"Humph! Well then maybe I won't tell him!" said Sana angrily. They were both in their classroom. Class had ended a while back but they had both stayed.
"Tell me what?" asked Akito. Sana threw her hands over her mouth.
"Nothing!" she squeaked. Then she remembered what Aya had said. She sighed. She had to do it. She told herself it was for Aya. In truth it was for her. Sana grabbed Akito by his wrist and dragged him into the cupboard. He gave her a funny look but didnt say anything. Sana took a deep breath.
"-" Sana was interrupted by the now familiar feeling of Akitos lips against hers. Her eyes widened.
'He's kissing me again! What should I do?' she thought. This was NOT what she had expected. Akito pulled away just far enough to say, "Really depends on the girl."
"If it were Fuka?" asked Sana knowing the answer. She knew he loved Fuka, not her. But then why would he-
Her thoughts were interrupted by Akito's laughter.
"If it were Fuka I would slap her in the face say get lost," said Akito. Sana was surprised and extremely relieved. Then another thought came to her.
"What if it were... Well... Me?" Sana sheepishly, sort of dreading the answer.
Akito wrapped his arms around her and held her tight. Sana slowly put her arms around him.
"If it were you Sana, then I would do just this," he replied.
"Is this some sort of trick?" asked Sana pressing her face into Akito's shoulder.
"This isn't a trick Sana. I... I... I love you!" he forced out. Sana gasped. It was not the first time she had heard him stutter. He had been like this at their middle birthday party. Had he been trying to tell her then too?
"I love you too," she said quietly. She put one hand on either side of his face. Her heart was pounding in her chest. She leaned forward. Akito had kissed Sana four times now. But Sana leaned forward and kissed him for the very first time. They held each other tight. This time the kiss wasn't in the least bit one sided. Sana soon realized that this was her very first real kiss. And she never, ever wanted to let go.
