"So let's get this straight," he huffed out at his twin brother, the other's brown eyes filled with determination. "You went to buy the gameā¦"
"Dragon Age II," The other boy supplied.
"Right," he continued. "And this lady in a dark hood gave it to you for free, and you took it." The boy nodded sharply. "Then you decided to play the game, noticing the weird marking on the disc, and it opened this green swirling portal before us." Another nod. "Tzyion..."
"Wait, Adrian I can explain," Tzyion quickly interrupted, though he knew he had no real explanation for why he did what he did. "I didn't expect this to happen!"
"What did you expect to happen?" Adrian was exhausted he shouldn't have to deal with this after coming home from finals. "You, a 21 year old grown man, took a game from a complete stranger! How bright does that sound!"
"The store was out!" Tzyion shouted his defense. "Said they wouldn't get a new shipment in for another month! Beside it was an old lady. What harm could she have done?"
"She could have stabbed the hell out of you."
"In broad daylight."
Adrian clenched his jaw, his brother had him there. But the fact was they were stuck with a giant, green, swirling portal in their apartment for the rest of the summer, given they didn't sign up for any summer classes.
"So what are we going to about this?" he sighed gesturing to said portal.
"We're going to go in," Tzyion stated confidently.
"Man I wished the lady had stabbed you."
"Flemeth wouldn't do anything like that," Tzyion commented off-handedly.
"Why do you know her name?!" Adrian exasperated. "What else she tell you?"
Tzyion, completely ignoring the first question, said, "Flemeth said to close our eyes and leap. For a bird can only fly once it has fallen."
"So now what?"
An evil glint secured in Tzyion's eyes as he grabbed Adrian's wrist.
"We leap."
