It was a beautiful morning. The sun was shining and the birds were chirping. I was on my way to Beverly Hills High, the new high school I was attending. After a summer of learning about the Overlords and the history, I'm finally back at school. I had just moved into Los Angeles with Dad also known as Peter Hale who was also the most richest person in the world, and has his own record label, design institute, ext."Everything is going to be alright." I thought. "It's just a new school in a new city. Who am I kidding? I was freaking out! I know Dad told me it was going to be fine but this is not fine."

Dad chuckled. "It's going to be fine. You just need to adjust to being the new girl not to mention a supernatural. Just remember to keep that a secret. Blend in. Pretend to be a human." Dad said.

I sighed. "I know I have to keep it a secret. I'm worried that they won't like me."

"I know that they will like you. You are smart, nice, pretty, and caring. People would be dumb not to be friends with you." Dad said.

He wasn't lying. I had gotten a lot smarter over the summer, mostly from Dad having me learn more, but I also had super Intelligence, one of my powers, to help. I also got a little more pretty, losing my zits and braces after only needing them for a little over a year. My hair also gotten longer to the point where it's just above my waist. Dad said that since I was starting to control my powers, my Overlord side appearance was making me look prettier.

"Thanks Dad." I said just as the limo turned into the school parking lot. People were starring at the limo in awe. "I knew this was going to happen." I thought. After I had moved to LA, Peter announced to everyone that I was his daughter thus making me famous. I looked nervously at my Dad and to my outfit and back. Dad had introduced me to a fashion mogul named Stacy and we instantly became friends. Dad took Stacy and I shopping a few days ago for Back to School, and thanks to Stacy, I got a ton of new clothes. Today, I was wearing a little blue and white dress, a light wash denim cropped vest, white flats, and a blue and white polka dot bow on my hair. I also wore the pendant Dad gave me of us when I was a baby. I also curled my hair, something I hardly did. I started getting my backpack and took out my schedule. I got a new light blue backpack and a brown faux leather bag one to bring home, other for the school. I started getting out when Dad took my hand.

"There's nothing to worry about, Wendy. People will love you. Have a good day." Dad said and hugged me. "And remember, no powers unless it's an emergency."

"I know. See you after school." I said as got out. I started up the steps to the front door and walked in.
