It was one of those nights. The Winchesters drove down the road in the dead of night, both scanning for a motel to stop at. Alas, neither hunter could find even one. Both were too tired to keep driving.

"That's it. I'm pulling over." Dean finally decided steering into a resting spot near the road. Sam didn't feel like arguing since there was no reason to, so he kept his mouth shut. Dean stopped The Impala, closing his eyes, and crossing his arms. Sam looked over at his brother and shifted his eyes.

"Right then... okay..." the younger hunter muttered, also getting into a comfortable position.

12:25 AM, Dean Winchester opened his eyes lazily in the direction of the passenger seat seeing that Sam wasn't there.

"Sammy?" He questioned slightly. It was then that he noticed his brother leaning on the hood of The Impala staring up at the sky. The older brother sat up and got out if the car. "Sammy? What are you doing out here?" He asked slightly concerned.

"Couldn't sleep."

"So you decided to be one of those weirdoes who finds the answers to life by looking into the stars." He jokingly suggested. Sam rolled his eyes and took a breath

"No."

"Then seriously, why didn't you just hang in the car?"

"Honestly? I just like to star gaze." Sam said with a slight smile

"Aww. Your breaking my heart."

"Oh shut up" Sam replied giving Dean a small shove "look," Sam revealed a map with charted stars and constellations.

"You did all this? When"

"Mostly when your asleep." Dean made a thinking frown then walked to the back of The Impala and grabbed two beers, he handed one to Sam

"Drink, it's good for the soul" Dean said with a smirk taking a swig of his own beer. He then sat on The Impala's hood gesturing for Sam to do the same. Dean glanced over at his brother noticing his content expression. "You know what," Sam turned to look at Dean hearing his voice "I can't sleep either." He said obviously lying.

"Let's star gaze Sammy."

"Sure" Sam smiled.
