First

Whybie had asked Coraline an odd question today while on there way home from school.

"Who was the first to kiss your chapped lips?"

"What?" she asked him in response.

"Well, Jonesy, who was your first kiss?"

"Why do you want to know that?"

"Well, I don't know," he scratched the back of his head, "just wondering."

"Who was your first kiss then?" The boy on the bike blushed.

"You know I'd better hurry home, grandma needs a lot of help with her spring cleaning."

"It's the middle of winter."

"She likes to get an early start."

"Yeah right, you just don't want to answer me."

"No, I told you I have to get home soon."

"Ok, fine, don't tell me. Just go off, running home to your grandma."

"Hey!"

"What?"

"You didn't answer me either," that was true, but had he known who it was with, she doubted that they would stay friends.

"Well I'm home, so you can go and help your grandma with her 'spring cleaning'."

"Ok then, bye Jonesy," he rode off towards his grandmothers house.

Coraline unlocked the front door and went into her home. After locking the door, making sure the 'other' door was still locked, and eating her snack , she though it was a good time to do her home work. Especially scene she only had two hours before her parents returned from there meeting. She was making pretty good time until she got to her math. Upon seeing fractions she let her mind wonder back to earlier conversation between herself and Wybie.

"My first kiss," she whispered to herself. She reached into her mind and pulled back the memory to reflect on it.

-flash back-

She shouldn't feel this way about him. She hadn't even known him for one whole week and she was finding it a little uncomfortable to be left alone with him. They were never alone long, which was either a good or bad thing, she didn't really know. His gloved hand was as soft as a pillow. She was a bit flustered to be holding his hand. She was also glad that it was night time so he couldn't see her blush. While they were walking to see the show that the two crazy lades down stairs were putting on, she stolid glances at his eyes. Every time she saw them she felt a string in her heart tug, though they were only buttons she still felt it. She shouldn't like him, she couldn't like him, he wasn't from her own world.

At the end of there show, that she some how got involved in, he surprised her with a flower. Her heart skipped a beat, then went into over drive. When they were leaving she gave him a quick kiss on his sown up lips. His black button eyes grew huge, she blushed, and continued walking.

-end of flash back-

She blushed remembering the other Wybie. Then she remembered what happened to him, and that string in her heart tugged violently. Maybe one day the Wybie from her world measure up to the other Wybie. When she realized her train of thought she shook her head to vanish them.

"That could never happen," she said out loud half scolding herself, half stating it as fact. She then went back to her math, shoving the memories to the furthest corner of her mind. Coraline preferred to leave the past in the past and not think of what was yet to come.

A.N.:I actually wrote all of these Coraline fanfics when I couldn't find the folder for her a year or so back. *laughs* I actually had to look hard for it today too. By the way thank you ALICEXTARRANT4EVER, you made me want to keep typing this one up. Of coarse want to thank my lovely Lilly as always you force me to write like I need to be doing.
