"Peeta, where are you taking me?" I ask.

He's been carrying me for what seems like hours with a blind fold covering my eyes. He refuses to tell me where he's taking me, claiming that it's a surprise. I'm hoping that if I ask him enough he will finally become annoyed and tell me where he's taking me.

"What part of it's a surprise do you not understand?" he says.

"Well can you atleast give me hint?"

"Okay, it's the place that I'm taking you."

"Thanks for the clue."

"Oh, no problem."

After a few minutes he announces that we're here and places me on the ground then takes off my blind fold. I look around and see that we're in the meadow. He's placed a blanket under one of the trees. On it sits a picnic basket filled with cheese buns.

We sit down and eat them, not saying anything just enjoying the food. When finally he breaks the silance.

"How about we play a game of real or not real."

"Um, okay," I say.

He scoots over to me and wraps his arms around my waist and whispers in my ear "You love me, real or not real?"

I peck him on the lips and say "Real, of course."

"You will always love me, real or not real?"

"Real, always."

"You will stay with me not matter what, real or not real?"

"Real, Peeta why are-"

"You will marry me, real or not real?" he says smiling.

I stare at him unable to speak. I feel the tears welling up in my eyes. He pulls out a ring with what looks like a pearl on it. He gently takes his hand and wipes away the tears that have trickled down my face. He stares at me waiting for an answer and when I finally find my voice I tell him "Real, yes! I will marry you! I love you, Peeta!" I say inbetween kisses.

He takes my hand and slides the ring on my finger and whispers in my ear, "I've been waiting to do this since I was five."

I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him some more.

I can't believe this man. Peeta Mellark. Is going to marry me.
