A chasm leaps open, there is ghostly white beyond the cragged edge

Betwixt existing and the end; between warm light and endless dreaming

Pale, flickering stars cascading down, and down, and down

Plummeting their last dance through the vast expanse of heaven,

Driven by an urging, "Go, go, go now,"

A golden doorway, spilling golden light into a dying, freezing expanse,

A golden doorway leading into endless light and there

A golden lion, roaring, calling,

"Time! It is Time!"

So Father Time climbs,

Up and up, with his moonlit horn, as white as his brow, as white as the snow

That once clung to the earth in an endless winter

Now returning, to an endless night, with darkness and dark beasts roaming, ruling,

Endlessly, shadow and gone

But endless dreaming is not enough; not enough when there could be eternal light

Through the door, meeting golden eyes,

Walking into eternity, the door closing on the empty

Welcome to the new adventure, the only adventure, the true adventure,

The place your heart's wordless longing has led you

The place your soul's mysterious longing has led you

We are running, running, and running forward, further up, further in

Further into where it all begins

No pain, no sorrow, no fear, not here, no mourning

The dream has ended

This is the morning
