A Sad Mother's Day

Summary|| Hazel Levine, now married with kids of her own decides to visit her mother's grave on mother's day.
Hazel looked at the calendar, today was mother's day. Every mother's day has been a sad one since the death of her parents. However this year was different because she had kids of her own. Two twins, one boy and one girl. She walked over from the calendar and over towards her husband Philip DeVille.
"Are you already?" Phil asked his wife putting his arm around her shoulder for comfort. She was visiting her mother's grave, like she did every year on special holidays. Hazel nods her hand and grabs the blue roses off the table.
The twins were at their grandparents house.
Hazel and Phil walked out the house to their car. Hazel was planning on making this the last time she visit her mother's grave for mother's day. She moves some of her hair out the way and gets into the cry putting on her seatbelt. She clenched the roses in her hands praying she wouldn't cry this time, like she always does. Not a day goes by when she doesn't miss her mother or father.
The car ride to the cemetery in Boston was a quiet one, they didn't talk to each other. Once they reached the graveyard, Hazel started to shake a bit as she got out the car. The two walked hand and hand down to her mother's grave.
"You want some time alone?" Phil asked.
"No..." Hazel smiles softly and squeezed his hand gently. She pleased the flowers down. "Happy mother's day, I miss you a lot.." She smiles sadly and places her hand on her mother's gravestone.
"Let's go Phil," Hazel said walking away feeling tears swell up in her eyes.
Phil watched her walk away, he looked at the grave with a small smile, "Happy mother's day, I wish I could have met you...Hazel tells me many stories and you sound like a lovely lady. You have raised a wonderful, bright, and intelligent daughter." He walks away and chases up with his wife grabbing her hand, "happy mother's day."
Hazel kisses his cheeks gently, "thank you."
