Just fyi, this story won't be the same as the original. Characters who are already dead in WoW may not be dead in this story. We'll see what happens, but in the end I want a good "book" with a nice storyline. Enjoy the "prologue":
It was a beautiful day in the city of Goldshire: people were talking with eachother, the blacksmith was busy making some horseshoes and the inn was filled with different races from all over Azeroth. In the corner of the inn sat three worgen, the humanoid wolf race. Even though they mainly spoke with snarls, some words could be understood in the native tongue. They appeared ferocious, but they were in fact nice when treated with respect.
In the corner of the Inn sat a hooded figure and it looked as if he was waiting. He looked impatiently towards the door and even seemed a bit nervous. After a few minutes the commander of the human knights, General Marcus Jonathan, walked in. The hooded figure stood up and grabbed something out of its pocket, something sharp. The general walked towards the bar and ordered a glass of sweetened goat's milk. The hooded figure walked up to the general and sat next to him on a bar stool.
He displayed the sharp object to the general, it was a piece of dark metal that was only used by the orcs of the Blackrock mountain. Marcus said: "remove your hood at once and explain yourself". The figure did as the general said and lowered its hood. Underneath it was a beautiful elven woman who had obviously seen battle as she had multiple scars across her face. The woman said: "My name is not important, all you need to know is that they are coming. You know of whom I speak, now act swiftly".
The general ran to his horse outside of the inn, mounted it and rode for Stormwind, the capital of the humans. After he reached the city he made his way to the keep of the king and asked for an audience. King Varian Wrynn sat on his large throne with his 15-year old son Anduin at his side. Wrynn jumped up as he saw his startled old friend. Marcus, what's wrong?, he said. They're coming, the orcs are coming back!, Marcus replied.
King wrynn asked for proof and in return the general gave him the Blackrock shard. The king angrily threw the shard away; We must prepare, we will not let the orcs destroy our city again. The general saluted and ran away shouting orders towards the knights of Stormwind. When he reached the gates he looked at the sky and noticed that there was a red glow above Goldshire, as if the minor settlement was being burned down to the ground. Marcus closed his eyes and listened as he heard the cries and shouts of the inhabitants of Goldshire. The moment he opened his eyes a female rider appeared on the horizon, making her way towards Stormwind.
