Spike's Discovery
Summary: Parody of the secret scene from "Green Isn't Your Color". Spike tells Garble and Fizzle a secret he discovers about Discord and Princess Celestia. I own nothing but the fanfic.
"Oh, I can't believe it," Rarity said, looking down at the train of Princess Celestia's dress. "The hem is completely off. Pins!" Discord then handed her a pincushion, and she took them with her magic before pinning the train.
"Thank you all for helping me," Rarity said to him and Garble, Spike, and Fizzle who are also helping her out. "I'm sorry for being this frazzled with you, but putting together this dress for the Princess…I'm just so nervous."
"Rarity, relax," Discord assured her with a smile. "Whatever you have made for Princess Celestia will be as lovely as she is." Celestia giggled in reply.
"Oh, Discord, you are such a flatterer." Garble just held back the urge to gag. Sure, the two of them make quite a couple, but come on!
"Hey guys," Spike then said, turning to him and Fizzle. "I wanna tell ya a little secret, but ya hafta promise you won't tell anyone else. Not even Discord."
"I promise," he answered with a smile.
"Ah-ah-ah. Pinkie Pie promise?"
"Cross our heart; hope to fly; stick a cupcake in our eye," Fizzle answered doing the Pinkie Pie Promise routine. Checking to make sure Discord, Celestia, and Rarity aren't listening or even paying attention, Spike ushered the two older dragons closer to him. Once they're close enough, he whispered his secret to them with a psyched grin:
"I think Discord has a crush on Princess Celestia!" Garble stared at him flatly as if to say "Really?"; but Fizzle gasped with shock before covering his gapping mouth.
"We won't…say…a word."
"Aw, gimme a break," Garble snorted. "We already figured that—"
"Garble, no!" Pinkie cried, popping up out of nowhere. "Spike trusts you, and losing a friend's like losing a friend forever."
"But—"
"Forever!" Pinkie yelled, giving him a threatening look that made him a little hesitant.
"My lips are sealed," he said, doing said gesture with a smile. "But I'm still pretty positive that the Princess is gonna catch on to Discord's feelings for her sooner or later." The three dragons then turned to said couple to see the Draconequus stick a flower (the same kind that he gave to her in that bouquet) into the Alicorn's mane. Garble then held back the urge to puke again when they gave each other a blushing smile.
