He looked up at the sky.
It was raining-
She has always loved the rain.
- and it seemed that the heavens above are with him today.
("Ne, Sasuke-kun, don't you just love the rain?" she asked, as she spread her arms and danced with the tiny drops of water falling from the sky.)
"Taka."
("No." Came the one-worded answer.)
At the mention of the team name, the three members looked at their leader, surprised. Sasuke rarely talked and if ever he did, it was of utter importance.
(And he looked up once again at the dark gray clouds-)
"It's time to go home."
("I see. Why though?")
Smirk.
"B-but, Sasuke-kun! You know very well that we don't have-" stated the red-haired girl, in an attempt to stay with her beloved crush.
"You can come with me if you like." His eyes remained impassive but deep inside-
"You do know very well that we're all coming with you, do you not, Sasuke?" the sword wielder declared as if it were the most obvious thing as he chuckled.
The other two could only nod, affirming.
- he was elated- thrilled, euphoric, excited- or as elated as Uchiha Sasuke can be.
"What are we waiting for, then?" the Sharingan wielder said, barely above a whisper.
("Just because.")
Smirk.
("Mou, Sasuke-kun!")
(- as he thought of the things he'll do first when they arrive.)
('Because I won't see you then.')
After all, what could possibly be a better gift to her than returning to his home?
