They all looked at each other, a glint of madness in their eyes. They were locked in a big house with room for nine. Perfect for them as a very dangerous task faced them, and at the end of the task faced a prize, the privilege to live. But as we all know prizes come with a price, in this case the death of fellow friends. You see, to get the prize they must be the last one alive. That means killing friends, and in one particular case, family.

In this tale we will see who has the capability and the mentality to kill friends and loved ones.

-Chapter One-

Day: One

Time: Early Dawn (6:12 AM)

Maka warily looked into the corridor from her room. She sighed contently. "Good, no ones upyet. But I'll have to be very cautious for awhile." She whispered to her self as she left her room and headed to the kitchen to make her self a very quick breakfast. She poured her cereal in to a small glass bowl and ate a bit. "If I'm going to get out of here alive I'm going to have to kill the strongest person first. That would be Professor Stein since he has more life experience then anyone here." She put down her bowl, got up and took a stroll to the library. "Let's see, if I'm going to kill him I'll need to use the things he likes… well he likes to smoke cigarettes, maybe I can poison him but I'll need to do this in just the right way or they'll try to kill me because they'll know I have the intellect to kill them." She pondered over ways to murder him as she read a science book she had pulled out. She was reading about flammable elements when it hit her. "If I can just get my hands on some nitroglycerin or an element of the same flammability I can take him out and maybe some one else will get caught in the explosion." She said, sounding rather insane. She laughed, madness dripping in her shaky voice.

Time: High Noon

Death The Kid looked back into to the living room with a smile and a sense of accomplishment. He had made the whole house symmetrical, and it didn't even take to long. All it took was one hour, but now he was a bit hungry and you can't make the world symmetrical on an empty stomach, right? So he went to the kitchen and prepared himself a sandwich, symmetrical of course. He took bite out of it and sat down. At the far end of the house Professor Stein was reaching for a cigarette. He put the end in his mouth, but it tasted a bit odd. Shaking off the feeling, he lit the other end and just a few minutes later an ear shattering 'BOOM' could be heard through out the house. Everyone rushed to the part of the house the deafening noise came from. In the charred room, all that could be seen was a body, most likely dead. No one could have lived through that terrible explosion, no matter how strong they were. But now all but one person had the same question ring through their mind, 'Who could've done this?' And the only one who would ever know who did this stood in the back of the crowd, in a state of satisfaction.

A/N: I was just practicing my grammer before school starts on the 19th. But I thought this tured out good so I published it. Short, I know but it was a little practice for me so if you think I should make a chapter two or have found a mistake in this or just want to leave a review please go right ahead and if it's a mistake I'll fix it ASAP!
