Colors in the Looking Glass
I stand here staring in this broken mirror
That once reflected all of the worlds' dreams
So many places and to many faces
Calling, Crying out to me
As I step through the mirror it starts to tremble
And the shattered pieces fall into the snow
Moonlight from a violet sky creates a crystal halo
And I'm lost in a world I do not know
Trapped on the other side of this crooked little looking glass
Haunted by my memories and dreams of long past
I walk slowly through a barren forest
White snow drifting to the ground
The trees whispering softly to me
create the only sound
Then I find myself running through a field of blood red flowers
And looming in the distance I can see two golden towers
I run until I'm at the top and I can touch the sky
I can hear the ruby bells chiming
Telling me I'm out of time
The door is locked behind me all I can do is fall
I know I should be frightened, but I feel nothing at all
Then I'm flying on a pair of raven tinted wings
And I can hear the silvery sound of an angel as she sings
All of a sudden I wake up to find that it was all a dream
What you see reflected in the looking glass isn't always what it seems
