"Ok then, lets go through this again..." Leo sighed heavily, rolling his eyes at Mikey, who looked confused - as usual. Mikey grinned sheepishly at Donatello and shrugged.

"Alright, but this is the last time!" Don glared.

"Let's just pretend we're all capable of retaining basic information, so we all know Master Splinter sent us here to investigate a string of unusual robberies..." Kneeling, Donatello unrolled a large map of the city of Houston Texas, "Authorities have confirmed that at least four of six recent robberies of museums and jewel suppliers were all committed by the same individual, but so far all efforts have failed to result in capturing the criminal responsible, or even locating a suspect... All we know is the thief is incredibly agile and very fast. I believe that there may be other robberies linked to this thief that the authorities have overlooked... Based on the locations and natures of the robberies..." Don circled an area on the map " ...I believe they will strike next at one of four locations within this area..." He looked over at his brothers. "And they'll do them all within a week."

"Uh, so what you're saying is..." Michaelangelo scratched the back of his head.

"Some bad guys are gonna try to steal something shiny, and we're going to stop them." Leo said flatly.

"Awe, that sounds easy!" Mikey laughed.

"Too easy... Is that it?" Raph had stood silently, arms crossed until then. "Why would Master Splinter have us come all the way out here for some small-time robber?"

"This isn't just some petty criminal Raph." Leonardo stated, "The mastermind behind all these robberies probably isn't going to be easy to catch. We have reason to believe whatever is performing these crimes may not even be human, and they may not be acting alone... There may be two or more thieves working together." he said. "Also, we don't know exactly where or when they're going to strike next..."

"So we're working blind?" Raph scoffed

"Not exactly." Don stood up, produced what appeared to be a bulky watch from a duffel bag and handed it to Raphael. "The thief is going to strike one of four locations..."

"And we'll be able to tell them the time if we find them." Raph smirked

"That's a locator." said Donatello, as he pulled two more from the bag and handed them to Michaelangelo and Leonardo. "If we split up and stake out each location, when the thief strikes, we'll be able to alert each other." Don pulled out a final locator, and hooked it around his belt. "If you press the button on the side, your signal will start blinking on the other locators,so we can find each other quickly..."

"Cool! So when we catch the bad guy, press this button?" Mikey asked as he clipped on his locater.

"I'd prefer we all keep a low profile..." Leonardo interrupted "Whoever happens to be in the location the burgler strikes, alert everyone before you try apprehending them. We don't know who or what we're dealing with just yet, or what they're capable of..."

"Good idea Leo. Maybe we'll even be able to recover some goods from previous heists if we can follow them to wherever they're hiding out." Donatello suggested, as he handed maps to each of his brothers detailing the locations they would be scouting.

"Like they'd be any match for a turtle! We could take 'em, right Mikey?" Raphael laughed darkly, as he high-fived his brother.

"Alright!" Mikey cheered. "Just as long as we can order a pizza first! Who can crime-fight on an empty stomach?"

"Fine..." Leonardo agreed, gazing across the city under the darkening sky, "But then we get down to business!"
